  • Natural Gas Inventory Surplus Edges Up Despite Bullish Weather, Rig Count Back On The Rise [View article]
Since June the rig count is up 50; from 349 till 401 now. While total rig count is up 9; from 1759 till 1768 now.
During this period the oil price rose significantly while gas price slightly lowered.

For me it seems very unlogical that drilling capital woud be shifted towards natural gas in stead of oil !!!

  • New Era Of Energy Abundance: Nat Gas Production Set A Record Last Year, Bringing Inflation-Adjusted Prices To A 17-Year Low [View article]
On what exactly is the statement "new era of energy abundance" based?

How much capital investments / losses and environmental damage was caused by this (shale gas) increased production?

Is this a sustainable path to go, is the path of the last few years a balanced situation or is it totally manipulated?

What are the projections for the future regarding price and production?

  • Nat Gas Prices Stall After Inventory Withdrawal, Could Test $4 If Cold Snap Eats Into Surplus [View article]
Not one bad word from me concerning the underpaid and overworked people. They do their jobs accurately, no doubt about that.

But how about the input data they receive from third parties, the sources? These sources, powerful and very well paid, I do not trust them too much.

Who is still believing these storage data?

You'd better check out how EIA, "so called analysts", etc. "produce" the data and if there are any motifs to manipulate the outcomes.

Is anybody checking the underground storage levels ever?
What if the actual level now is only 2,000 bcf? Who would notice that?

But prices / markets react seriously even on a few bcf more or less than expected by.... every week.
Those who control the data, have no problem to control the prices on the market. Making money is easy... this way.
