Who's Going to Buy Our Bonds Now?

So what if the Chinsese don't buy our bonds. We pay billions of dollars (non-interest paying iou's) for the goods we purchase from them. What are they going to do with all these dollars? Unless they buy bonds with them or purchase our goods or assets they are useless. If they buy foreign bonds with them the foreigners must pay the interest or the foreigners must purchase our goods, etc. As long as they keep selling us their stuff at these low prices we should be happy!
