OPEC Pledge: Another Production Cut

It appears that our country is still working hard to be more energy efficient. I wonder how much of the drop in demand is from more efficiency as opposed to a drop in actual function loss. Our citizens may be gradually reverting to more reasonable oil use. I hope it lasts, and even improves further. This gives us more time to reach a point of energy equilibrium. I for one could care less if these despot and communist countries economies sink. It also shows how difficult it is to predict prices. I don't think too many people predicted $40 a barrel oil 6 months ago.

Oil Companies Paid More Than Bottom 75% of Taxpayers

I thought this was very interesting. So many socialists/democrats want to raise oil companies taxes. Revenge on the BIG BAD oil co. to get them reelected. You can kill the goose that lays the golden egg.
