Thanks, Faisal Laljee, for your perceptive response. This is the first time I have received a response from a member of the Seeking Alpha A-1 team, and I really appreciate it. Your comment on oil price having no effect on computer spending is right on the mark. I read, in this week's Barron's (received last Saturday, 5/26), that the unemployment rate appears to be understated (in my view, that figure is subject to manipulation, and has been manipulated from time to time without disclosure). Still, people appear to be using their plastic with abandon -- witness the jump in MA yesterday. So, as an individual investor, I am completely confused, to say the least. Again, many thanks for your thoughtful comments over time. I really enjoyed reading them -- yours as well as many of your colleagues. omooc
