  • Does EnLink Have What It Takes To Double In 2 Years? [View article]
Nice article Maria. Although somewhat disappointed in my investment in ENLK so far, this does paint an optimistic picture and it offers a nice dividend in the meantime.

  • Shareholders press for board voice on climate at Exxon, Chevron [View news story]
Kind of a silly story on a silly topic. It is not the job of any oil company to set greenhouse targets. It is the job of the oil companies to produce petroleum products to be used as much as those who consume them want to. And the government to set standards on how much can be used by individuals or businesses based on their voodoo science of their paid for climatologists.

I suggest you disclose your carbon footprint and efforts you arr making to reduce them. And your plans for the millions who will be thrown out of work due to oppressive regulations.

The more and more people you need to hire to try to obfuscate what you're doing and the less people you hire to actually run the business, the less effective you become.

  • Exxon Mobil And Berkshire's Energy Investment Skills [View article]
In the energy sector I have MPC, MRO, DVN, ENLK, KMI and XOM. MPC being my largest holding and DVN being my smallest holding with XOM being my second smallest holding. I'm in the black on all of them except ENLK (my timing was pretty bad on it). Don't really care what Berkshire feels about it as it's a small part of my energy portfolio and and even smaller part of my over all portfolio. And it has performed well for me along with paying a nice dividend along the way.

  • Merrill Lynch raises energy outlook, names four Big Oil stocks to buy [View news story]
Difference in opinion. If anybody KNEW this stuff, they'd keep it to themselves, make a few big trades on what they KNEW and would become rich. Me? We'll probably see oil between $40-$80 over the next few years unless something really bad happens in the Middle East. I see more upside than downside, but I don't KNOW that.

  • Is Devon Energy Ripe For A Rebound? [View article]
Wow, you bought at a recent high. Too bad you didn't buy it a few weeks earlier in the middle of March around $57.25 like me. I have to ask, what was so compelling for you to buy at $68.57 that has disappeared and caused you to sell. Buy high and sell low is a terrible strategy.

Still well off it's $80+ all-time high, but a good opportunity to unload right now.

Great article Rogier. The only question remaining is how much more they can saturate China before that market get's over saturated with failed distributors. Most other regions of the world have reached that point and China is really the only large market left.
