  • Qualcomm: Sell In May And Go Away [View article]
Not that QCOM does not face any headwinds, but thanks for the counter to this article experienced as it appears to be too negative. Having a cost basis south of $40 I am not overly concerned here. All the while it pays a dividend.

  • Here's What To Expect From Devon Energy Earnings [View article]
Recent buyer of this about a month and a half ago at $57.25 and am obviously pleased with the performance so far. Longer term I expect the US and world economies to pick up a bit more which will help prop up natural gas and oil prices which will help the stock. But near term can see the possibility of further slow downs. And then there's always the possibility of unrest in the Mideast leading to huge potential spikes in oil prices. Always good to own some energy and at $57.25 this was a steal. Wish I had bought more.

I've heard this expects PLUG to become a break-even company story before. I guess we'll see once again.

  • What's Ahead For Devon Energy? [View article]
Took a small position in DVN about a month ago at $57.25. Right now that is looking good and wish I had bought more. But the economy still looks tentative and and further slow down could crush oil prices and DVN. On the other hand unrest in the Mideast could spur oil prices. Right now comfortable with my small position.

  • Sell Qualcomm After Being Dropped From The Galaxy S6 [View article]
I see your argument to a point, but wasn't this more of a sell at $80 near it's 52 week high than it's current $67, near its 52 week low? Buy low, sell high?

  • Herbalife's Uberazzi Enter The No Spin Zone [View article]
I guess HLF can spin all they wish, but the market has spoken with the 3% drop this AM. I've seen enough investigations to know that when the feds go calling on 10 different "witnesses" it generally is in the hope to get 1, 2 or 3 of them to rat on the others for more lenient sentences. I guess we will see what happens here.

  • Dutch court refuses to halt Groningen gas production [View news story]
These environmentalists might gain more sympathy if they lived in caves, did not drive cars or used public transportation fueled by oil or gas, and did not avail themselves of any products or food which used oil or gas in it's production/processing. But not doing that, they are flaming hypocrites much like their star Al Gore whose carbon footprint is even bigger than his fat a$$.
