  • Just Energy's (JE) Co-CEOs Deborah Merril And James Lewis On Q4 2014 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
Seem to me the dividend is in jeopardy even though management has done everything to say otherwise.

  • Luxfer Group - 50% Upside For This Undiscovered Natural Gas Transportation Play [View article]
Great article, this is now definitely on my watch list. I am long QTWW, and am taking a big hit today, but since I am long, I will just hold on.

  • Plug Power Acquires ReliOn Inc. Bringing Innovative Fuel Cell Stack Technology In-House [View article]
Very interesting. He did say he was getting away from buying stacks from BLDP sooner than later, and this is the move to make it happen. This will eventually lower product costs for the GenDrive and help expand revenue across new products and markets. I like the move.

  • Internap Network Services Management Discusses Q4 2013 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
It seems to me Internap is strategically heading in the right direction. As they transition away from the CDN competition with the likes of Akamai, I see Internap turning the corner. Keep up the good work.

  • FuelCell's Backlog Faces A Steep Cliff [View article]
There certainly is some risk to what this article points to in regards to the orderbook. But there is nothing to say that the Posco plant will exclusively be able to fill all of the orders from the S Korean marketplace in the near term. I still see some orders coming to Torrington to supplement this. I also expect orders to pick up in the near term stateside, as utilities start to see the results from the Bridgeport project. If these scenarios do play out, the royalty from Posco will be huge for the income statement. This will be very beneficial to FCEL becoming a profitable company.

We do need to keep an eye on the orderbook and the sales funnel though, and hope the orders start to come in.

I am long FCEL, and will always be.

  • What Plug Power, FuelCell Mean [View article]
All I can say is its hard to ignore the market potential Plug's product has. By no means can I say they are a well run company, or that they won't need some serious help going forward. But they are just now seeing the big boys with huge distribution centers starting to really test and like the products. But I'm sure there will be more on that front both positive and negative.

  • Quantum Fuel Systems: Inflection Point Has Been Reached, At Least 50% Upside Ahead [View article]
Great article explaining all the positives; however, I am still concerned about the near term. If things don't progress as smoothly as assumed in regards to the balance sheet, you will most definitely see a capital raise. This in the long term will be good for the growth of the company, but in the short term will cause downward pressure and volatility. I am long QTWW, and looking to increase my position at lower levels if they present themselves.

  • Assessing High Yield REIT Stocks [View article]
I am long DLR, and while it has been extremely volatile over the course of this year, its the future earnings potential that has me long. As the internet grows, so does the need for prime collocation space, and many collo providers, hosting providers, and cloud services providers go to DLR to lease their space and then resell to costumers. For example, one of the biggest pure collo players, Equinix, has just renewed five leases with DLR. Also to note, DLR is launching an open internet exchange initiative. This might lead to a greater presence in the meet me rooms, and potentially additional revenue at higher profits.

Great article, Gary. I really like how they have a royalty already in place, and this should certainly help them to avoid a ton of stock dilution through share offerings, although its certainly not out of the picture completely.

  • FuelCell Energy Management Discusses Q1 2013 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
I'm long FCEL, and while there might be a chance to get in around $.85 or lower, I wouldn't wait too long. This is the year that the stock will start to gain some momentum. At some point this year there will be a profit, and within the next 18 months I believe the EPS will start showing some positive movement. Either hold on and make money with FCEL, or hold on and wait for someone to come and buy them out. I am more in favor of no buy-out, but at the right price I wouldn't complain too much.

  • FuelCell Energy: An Overlooked Bright Spot [View article]
I am long FCEL and have been for a long time. I've been eagerly anticipating the financials of the company to turn the corner and for FCEL to become profitable. It looks as if 2013 will certainly have some breakthroughs on this front. Some thoughts to keep an eye on. 1. The time-frame it takes for FCEL to ramp up the production capacity. This will have a materially impact on margins, as they work their way closer to the desired run rate to support profitability. Once production ramp up is complete, margins growth will experience significant growth until the effects level out. This is certainly worth keeping an eye on. 2. There has been a fair amount of growth in product shipments from other companies in the SOFC technology field. When will the acquisition of Versa Power start to impact the financial metrics in other ways than governmental R&D funds? 3. Margins were also impacted by the increased spend in marketing activities to land customer activity in Europe and Latin America. I would like to see customer wins come out of this spend to increase the product backlog, and to reduce the dependency on Posco for the customer mix. These are a few of the many things I will continually keep an eye on. I also believe that the first half of the year may be the last time we see FCEL trading below $1.00 baring any large share issuance.
