  • Minerva Neurosciences Presents Another Buying Opportunity [View article]
Author's facts are very well-researched, and the conclusions and opinions - based on those facts - appear well-founded. Appreciate the analysis/thoughts of why the surprising price behavior in recent days and post Min-301 news release. I am long NERV and plan to hold.

  • Orbital Sciences Could Explode... Again [View article]
This analysis is just what I have been looking for, for several months. I felt ORB was undervalued in light of the merger structure, but couldn't understand why other Investors/Funds didn't seem to be seeing that. I hold both ORB and ATK, and wanted to buy more ORB but was fearful I was 'missing' something key. Thanks!

  • magicJack: Short-Term Catalyst, And Significant Upside [View article]
A well-researched and thorough piece by Mr. Delano. Opinion is included, and/but is clearly stated to be such; (cannot say that about ALL SA works, imho.) I am long CALL with a small position, and learned some new things in this article. The case made therein is persuasive, and I may by some more tomorrow, into ER.

  • Inteliquent: Upside Likely After Recent Drop [View article]
This piece presents rays of hope after a month of gloom. I have been debating whether to take my losses and move on, or wait for better days. I appreciate having an optimistic analysis to consider, in the balance, with the negative ones.

  • Questcor And Mallinckrodt: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly [View article]
This thorough and thoughtful analysis of facts, deductive opinion, and commentary on 'other people's' analyses and accusations... is much appreciated.
It would be nice if the SEC would look into the "astonishing" amount of short interest and the borderline criminal but certainly vicious, many public/media attacks on the company/drug.

  • Orbital Sciences And Alliant Techsystems Look Like A True Win-Win [View article]
Mr. Simpson, thanks for your article! I see you've calculated about $31 fair value for a share of Orbital. Media reports that the deal is that ATK will swap 0.449 of its shares for each share of Orbital. Why isn't it correct to calculate fair value for an Orb share at .449 x price of ATK share?

  • If Yelp's CEO Refuses To Own Any Shares, Why Should You? [View article]
Thanks Mr. Galas, for providing link, this is a source I also go to for Insider. We can note that each time he sold, (looking back at last handful of sales), his end result was zero. It appears that his compensation plan rewards him with periodic stock options, which by the Plan's milestones, he exercises and sells /each/ time.
I believe it likely that some others on Management team have similar compensation/reward arrangement; the frequency of selling and clear lack of effort at TIMING the sales, suggests so.

  • If Yelp's CEO Refuses To Own Any Shares, Why Should You? [View article]
I checked multiple sources of Insider Selling and do not find any recent activity for Stoppleman. In your piece, you write that he..."SEEMS to own almost no shares". You must cite your source for this assumption, or it is worthless. You give yourself authority to speak for YELP Management by stating in a factual manner that 'they think the company is massively overvalued.' Please also review your fellow SA writer Scott Ryan's piece titled "Insider Selling At Yelp Is A Non-Issue" from 9/26/2013 to assure yourself that you know exactly how the CEO is compensated and how his personal 10b5-1 trading plan is set up. Oops... you should have checked that before you published. Lastly - I hate the thought that you get more money from SA because I am commenting. Sadly, that arrangement encourages publication of purposely contentious writing.

  • Don't look now, but momentum stock Intercept Pharma is rallying again [View news story]
To make the highly leading statement that the writer concludes with, without including any related facts, feels unethical. Am making a note of writer's name so I do not click on any more of .. whoops no name given. Just SA.

  • Intercept Pharmaceuticals: 6 Different Insiders Have Sold Shares This Year [View article]
As well all know, Insiders sell for many reasons. Your data conveys to me that the Insiders are not that saavy, as shown by the fact that a lot lot more was sold before the recent run up. I do appreciate the article, just do not agree with the conclusion that going Short is the right strategy.
