I worked at the Freeport Grasberg operations for several year with CAT. That mine pretty much paid for itself and bought most of Freeports other holdings as a super rich copper and gold deposit. It was a 15,000 ft high mountain when I was there and now is a very large hole in the ground and still yielding rich concentrations of ore.
