  • Axion Power Concentrator 383: Dec. 07, 2014 [View instapost]
    >Drich... I fully echo your reasoning here. IMO, any rational investor who dares to risk his capital with epower will equally risk it with Axion. Even if they didn't buy axion, I would believe this should give immense support to the axion sp. I believe right now it all hinges on venture capital putting their money into the epower story.

Any idea on how long it will take FedEx to come to a decision after testing the epower trucks ?

If JP has the ability to persuade venture capital in a 5 milion dollars raise, I would expect anyone who buys the epower story to equally buy into their bread and butter battery story. If this happens, then I assume the risks associated with the B warrants will go away.

On another note, in Cummins latest earnings report, they did very good numbers but are very concerned about future growth and they seem to be very aware of micro turbines and electric drivetrains as possible future growth area.

Isn't this what the PBC is all about? And what JP has been saying for ages that the alternatives require expensive and resource limited metals which makes the economics not attractive..

What's boggling my mind is the irrationality of the market not awakening to the hard facts or at least try to give the PBC more attention. Maybe the old management through their bearucratic and lack of business acumen failed to get the story out.

Or maybe that's how a great story should capitulate to let out the maximum possible believers. I have never seen a capitulation with this magnitude.

    RA,

Thanks for all the great work you did recently. One thing I would add to your argument is the B warrants are not a concern even if 90% of the warrants is owned by 10% of the investors, like a pareto distribution. The moment they are traded on the market, the distribution of the warrants among investors will become uniform. It was not a concern for me at all, instead I capitalized on this opportunity given by the market. We just need the new ceo to execute now, hopefully.

    OR,

If it goes to two or three sigma in this cycle, means severe decimation of share price. What is the reason behind this? So you are saying the market will give 100% certainty for cashless exercise outcome?, three month before it is even possible.?

    RA,

So you attribute this to extra liquidity and not deteriorating investor confidence in the story?

As of the close today, the acceleration of the exponential decay has reached a 1 sigma event. Never happened before in 10 year history.

    JP,

Will the current warrants of AXPW survive in case of some acquisition ? My understanding they should immediately expire, or are there any terms specific to this deal that protect the warrant holder ?

    Thanks,

    RA/JB,

The more I think of it now, it looks some company will make a hostile take over of Axion somewhere around $3 in the next three month. I doubt Axion will grow the business themselves or go through the same old shit one more time.

I speculate management is working behind the scenes on closing some deal.

    RA,

If I invest in ePower only, I will be limiting my options. If the deal can include Axion, the optionality will be limitless. I don't think it is something impossible given the opportunity (only $5 million in real dollars) and the stake in Axion so many investors on this board have.

It will just require a coordinated effort and I can get some other friends in private equity to look into the situation.

    JP,

Given you are a securities attorney and if this is possible in any way, I would be interested to participate in such a deal with $100K down. Feel free to reach out to me on SA.

    JP,

This is little off limits asking you this question. If PBC is a core component for ePower and it's business won't exist without the PBC. I think it's time for ePower to consider taking over axion given the assumption they have more flexibility in raising capital.

Essentially ePower can buy axion for $5 million given the cash at hand, it's ridiculous opportunity

I wouldn't be surprised if this happens any time soon given the opportunity..

    NGS,

It is naive to believe that my posts have any impact on share price. My thoughts are clear and clean, I know my outcome. On the other side, your thoughts are like scrambled eggs. One day you buy shares, the other day you hypothesize about 1 penny a share. If you sleep well repeating again and again your most plausible scenario, more power to you.

I don't care about the probability of the outcome, but the magnitude and skewness of the outcome. This is not hype as you suggest.

You don't seem to understand what you read. I am not predicting $20 by the model and never said that. I based that on the assumption if sales keep coming through, ie reduction in uncertainty.

It is not about who is right, it is about the outcome. The skewness in the return payoff of the options on AXPW are priceless considering the situation. A $5000 gives me the right to acquire 10,000 shares equivalent to 500,000 shares before the split. My downside is capped. I took the position and don't care what happens from day to day. It is smart and it is a winner even if I am wrong, who cares.

Playing the anticipation game everyday is a fools game and waste of time and energy, but its your choice.

    Good ole NGS

Having a map guides you through your odds and risks, it is better than trading aimlessly like you, one day you buy, the other day you sell and always loosing. Expecting certainty from models is a fools game.

Last time I bought we rallied 130% and it was good return for my desire.
