I have been thinking similarly to Growin $$. I just heard of new stock being sold for something like 17.75 per share. The company has to earn 14.65% on that money just to break even to pay the dividend. I do not think they can confidently expect to earn that or better, and as a result, the stockholders get hurt.

I am financially fairly sophisticated, but not an accountant. There are symbols in there that I did not notice being explained: BDC, CLO, and IFA for example. I have been taught that good reporting requires once writing out what these initials are short for befure using them regularly. As a result, the presentatioin is hard to read. The graphs are great and I appreciate the timliness.

Sell In May and Go Away? History Says No

Very confusing! The article speaks of a five month period, but states the five month period to be May 1 to September 1, which is four months. Since September is the worst month of the year, it is not an idle confusion. Do the statistics include September of not? Ishvara
