  • Supreme Court Decision Hammers Vringo Stock, All Eyes Now On ZTE  [View article]
Robert, you are out of your league here, you seem completely ignorant to the blatant breach of the NDA by ZTE and the vast implications of same regardless of validity of Nokia patents even though those patents are holding up beautifully around the world with injunctions in place against against ZTE in Brazil and Romania.

Do some due diligence or give it a rest already.

The denial of the Writ says nothing about hardware telecom patents.

The only thing that can be drawn from the Google case is that an activist CAFC has a penchant for overturning jury verdicts by using Obviousness as an excuse.

They can't do that with the Nokia hardware patents.

Wow Robert your ignorance as to what is at stake with ZTE and the other Nokia patents completely dwarfs what Google represented.

You really have absolutely zero idea of what you espouse.

Notwithstanding your knowledge of software and math which is, as Vito mentioned, may have truth and value but is now irrelevant as concerns Vringo's intrinsic value with HARDWARE standard essential 4G/LTE telecom patents.

You are out of your league.

  • Netflix hiking prices by $1/month; shares +3.1%  [View news story]
It is all about the original content for me.

At first it was House of Cards, but then more and more quality series started to arrive: OINB, Marco Polo, Daredevil, Narcos, Bloodline, etc

As the quality original content continues to grow there will be new seasons released all th time which eliminates the idea of content dilapidation. There will always be something decent to watch.

It's brilliant and so affordable, less than going to a single movie.

  • Supreme Court rejects Vringo petition; shares -22.9% (updated)  [View news story]
    Hi mg62bk,

lots of speculation in your question, best to think of the Google matter as dead but if Boies can get 4 SC justices to agree the Writ can be refiled and heard...long long shot.

I don't feel that the case vs. Google re patent infringement will in any way be impacted by what may be revealed in the ZTE disclosure...That is a totally separate matter.

I'm getting the feeling the market has absolutely no clue what is transpiring vs ZTE.

They only know Vringo for Google

Further to finance's comment, ZTE also agrees that the vringo/Nokia patents are valid so the only issue is to fair rate before Kaplan.

I highly doubt that as the USA is fast-becoming their largest and most important market:

When said Chinese companies operate within the boundaries of the United States a creditor has all the remedies available to them that they would otherwise have to collect on a judgment.

This includes the big one - an injunction on sales.

    Why would ZTE risk that?

Thanks again Justin for a good summary of events. Some key points you left out are that Vringo has already filed their 16 page motion for Sanctions against ZTE requesting summary judgment and legal costs. Kaplan could rule on that anytime.

Also may have been worth highlighting that Vringo has an unappealable victory vs ZTE in the UK which could be worth more than 100 million. ( to be decided in early 2016)
