Question on Gold: A senior official at the Bundesbank is quoted (in a Vanity Fair article," It's the economy, dummkopf!"Sept. issue) as saying "We have 3,400 tons of gold". We are the only country that has not sold its original allotment from the (late 1940's). So we are covered to some extent.") He was referring to the ECB crisis and insolvency of it's banks. If Germany were to sell some of it's gold holdings what would that do to the gold market, and is that a possibility about to happen, your opinions? thanks

Sowing the Seeds of Stagflation: Eye on Precious Metals, Dollar [View article]
Out of Benankes lips on an interview on bloomberg about 1 month ago: " I can do QE 3, QE4,QE5 if we need to." Question from interviewer: ' What will you do about inflation, if it becomes a problem." Bernanke " Oh, that's easy, I just raise interest rates".
I almost fell off my chair. This is who we have running our economy.
Right you are, I meant to write that gold has a floor of 1,045, because of the India Buy, so silver would be also protected with downside support, I can't see it going lower than 17 at the worst.
This is what happens when I am typing one thing and watching the markets at the same time. My mistake! Thanks for catching that.
Long ago stock statistician and chartist. Now sometime trader in Slv, Gld, UUp, Ung, commodities, and equity sectors. Just enough to satisfy my gambling streak, but not too much. However I watch the markets all the time for years , and with my background especially monitor all the charts. charts tell the story.
India bought a huge amount of their silver at I believe it was 1,045, and they have protected it there ever since. that may be it's downside risk. If that.
