  • Research In Motion: Buyers Beware [View article]
Nomads don't want a merger. In theory QNX is awesome, but Where's the apps?

rimm as a brand has A secure os and a low float, no moat...

Yeah by the math if it is worth 20$ and if they don't conform to either android or windows mango it's worth 10$

Research in motion, will go the way on palm.

    Bought out and forgotten...

If the dividend can be kept being increased there is no reason, to think, with 40 new cell phone per year (12 smart phones for 2011) that the company business and intrinsic value are not linking for some reason... But if you want to speculate of how a trailing 12 month .EPS to Dividend % basis rate compared. Nokia is staying right in the target range to increase div yoy roi to 1.8 by 2012.

If there were A big loss in earning .59 .EPS would sink the ship.

    To Clumsy Rick:
You make very excellent points, maybe the concern is that if BBY had already implemented the online selling plans, more agressively, during 2010 then getting less $ per square ft in profit wouldn't be that bad of a deal. Now amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Target etc online selling programs are at least as good as BBY.

  • Nokia Presents Rewarding Opportunity at Current Levels [View article]
Nokia's share price at this time and of recent has surely showed a pessimistic perspective of wall street, of recent. But this is precisely the basic nature of wall street and the markets. With a respectable 5% dividend rate for those whom live in america, and 6 % for those in other countries that is being produced soon, there is no reason, to expect continuation of a downdraft below 7$ per share. In this situation the future cash flow this company produce out weighs the short term perception. Options insurance with new buyers at these prices would provide maximum opportunity for both profit up or down and high leverage of margin based on safety of the dividend and/or options selling which provides a easy 5 % additional protection...
Those of us, whom have already held a stock steady for its proven increase leading dividend rates in the most profitable businesses in the world; i believe, leading into what will be a high tech- hyper-fast world will innovate and provide pricing that is low cost to build with high demand to sell.
