Self-directed, began in mid 90s in drips. When employer offered 401k, contributions went there with erratic contributions to drip accts. My main nest egg 401k was built by mutual funds over 20 years, rolled to self in 2010, invested in all div stocks. I do not contribute to that account (co-mingle) in order to preserve ability to roll to workplace 401k, if ever there is a good reason to do so.

Buy and hold (so far), I am a dividend-lover that has always aspired to live off my divs. To accomplish that, I reinvest all dividends back into the payer.
