  • It's not just oil exports wearing on refiners, Credit Suisse says [View news story]
Good plan, lets export or oil out of the country so that it can be refined and brought back in as gasoline or diesel and then the consumer gets to pay higher prices for. Refine it here and create American jobs and then if there is extra export that amount.

  • Kinder Morgan: A Clear Winner If Crude Oil Exports Are Allowed [View article]
We should not export any unrefined oil at all. Gasoline and diesel prices are already to high and are beginning to slow down the economy. Only totally refined value added products should be allowed for export. That would create American good paying jobs. That would actually help the economy and not just a few corporations bottom line.

  • GE: Why I'm Bullish [View article]
What in the world is taking so long to spin off the financial arm of GE? That should be their #1 priority. Get rid of neutron Jack's mess that almost toppled the company.

  • General Electric: Alstom Still A Terrible Idea [View article]
I only have 500 shares. I was for the buyout originally. Now I think it is a terrible deal and think there are much better growth opportunities elsewhere in the world. Or, better yet in this country. Pay the taxes and grow here. Make GE and the USA a global powerhouse again, but do it in a sane way.

  • It Appears As Though Shares Of Bank Of America Will Be Taking A Hit On Monday [View article]
Regarded Solutions, I agree with you! BOA has pulled out of and closed shop on it's branch offices in 2 metropolitan areas in my area and now the closest branch office is over 1oo miles away. Their premium travel(75 Dollars annual fee) card to earn air miles is now a joke. To book a flight using your air miles for any distance at all requires 2 days of travel. Overall they treat their customers as if it is an honor for their customers to be using them for their financial institution.

  • General Electric Not Giving Up On Shareholders As Alstom Deal Comes Within Reach [View article]
I only own 500 shares and as the bid was 1st reported, I was totally in favor of it. they upped the bid and I was getting apprehensive of it. With these new conditions, I am totally against it and am totally amazed that the board of GE is still considering the takeover. This just makes no sense for existing GE shareholders for the long term benefit of the company. Run away!

  • General Electric Must Prepare To Lose Alstom To Siemens [View article]
As a GE shareholder for the past 5 years, I have wanted them to expand their industrial base and shed their financial assets. They are slowly doing this. I was in favor of the original offer by GE for Alstom. However, I am not in favor of the increases of any other bids. Let Siemens have them! There are plenty of other fish in the sea to be able to acquire that they could use their cash horde on that would have a bigger impact down the road.

  • Why You Should Short Crude Oil Today [View article]
It is true that we (America) are producing more oil, natural gas and oil liquids than we have in the last couple of decades. However that said we are also exporting far more than we ever have. Propane went parabolic in the last winter vortex, because our feedstock supply was down to exporting. We would be awash in natural gas and it would remain cheap for the average consumer, but we are building or in the process of developing multiple LNG export facilities. Do you really buy the idea that gasoline should be around 3.50 a gallon when we are awash in so much oil? The GOP is trying to loosen regulations so that they may export more of our black gold assets. Where do you think our energy prices will go when that happens. I am sure the average American consumer will come out on top as they always have!
