  • Mark Zuckerberg To Investors: Give Facebook 3 To 5 Years  [View article]
We agree we had a MySpace page 5 years or so ago now
we have a (FB) page with all the same issues. It was good
to see Zuck and all but the answers were not given to critical
questions real mobile revenue going forward and relevance
they are 2 years behind most kids we know have moved on.
Perhaps an optional fee based perk based upgrade like
(AMZN) prime (LNKD) or (YHOO) would generate great
revenue going forward. 1 billion searches a day are "killer"
only if a "killer" revenue stream comes back to (FB). October
earnings will tell the tale not good we fear.

  • Gold And Silver: Why They Are Easy Buys  [View article]
We agree world easing staring late July makes Gold and Silver
the place to be.Our plays (NUGT) 2800 shares up 60% in
5 weeks. (AGQ) for us entered a few days back has even
greater potential. We rode it a couple of years back from $50
to $200 we think it is headed there and more again.Silver has
greater upside potential than Gold for traders though volatile.
    Paraboly should always be sold.

We have been short all the way down via put buys story/PR not
good reminds us of MySpace that Murdoch got his face ripped
off on and Broadcast that Cuban pump and dumped on Yahoo.
We own a few puts currently would not buy at any price until
capitulation and volume buying of the filled dip nowhere in sight.
Old story when even your granny has a Farcebook page kids
drive markets and they are speeding away in droves.

(AAPL) is well on the way to doing this and will run it from their "Cloud" headquarters in Maiden,NC.They will not buy a strange
cow when their in house talent/systems are better Unlike (GOOG)
they are very careful with big acquires preferring alliances currently
with Twitter (FB) and (YELP) in their new iOS 6 platform for the
new iPhone 5 to be introduced Wednesday. The Main thing for
Tom Cook is to keep the main thing the main thing.

  • Will The Real 60/40 Please Stand Up?  [View article]
When we were young we invested with Peter Lynch
"One Up on Wall Street" for wealth accumulation.
Go with what you know diversify with A FEW high quality
hot sector US dividend growers back tested X 15 years.
(AAPL) (CF) (NEM) for us crushed all comers over time.
Cash/Bonds have crashed over time USD has lost 35%
against even the crap Euro in the last 10 years bonds have
    followed.Over-pdiversi... allocation creates index performance
at best the kiss of death. We are up 65% for our folios in 2012
Plus more selling options around core holdings. So Lynchian strategies for us for wealth accumulation our folios amply rewarded
over time particularly for the younger investor.
