  • How NQ Mobile Is Like Longtop Financial Technologies [View article]
NQ is 7768 most visited site in China and 87K in the world as per alexa.com. Having most of their customers in China..the number makes more sense. Mcafee is in the PC market and has much wider reach. It is owned by Intel and has bigger influence globally. We should compare apples to apples.

Never heard of lookout.com but has 25K most visited.... Interesting.. now it makes more sense why some people say they have never heard of NQ.

Although I like your comparative approach, I feel the odds seems to work in NQ's favor. The products are real, the partnership is real, the customers are real ( thanks to alexa.com) and now they have proved they have cash. I will stick to my thesis for now

I don't know about Longtop but I like the way you have done the comparative analysis.

Why would anybody log into NQ site other than to download a product or check IR? I have Mcafee installed in my pc but I seldom visit their site. Similarly I don't understand why it would fancy anybody to visit NQ site frequently. Considering NQ products is preloaded in the phone, I don't think there is much reason to visit nq as a site.

I was reviewing the user percentage on the different pages on NQ and this is the data I got when I checked Alexa.com.

Where do visitors go on nq.com?
    cn.nq.com 42.24%
    nq.com 27.59%
    en.nq.com 22.18%
    ir.nq.com 21.89%
    virus.nq.com 5.03%
    family.nq.com 4.00%
    blog.nq.com 3.60%
    find.nq.com 2.47%
    accounts.nq.com 1.91%
    shield.nq.com 1.91%
    my.nq.com 1.54%

So the highest percentage visits are on cn.nq.com. A very interesting site ( could not read the content as it was in Chinese) which shows all the NQ partnerships and their products.
Feiliu.com made more sense to visit on a daily basis ( do check their site). The developer log in is shown at 15% and ios.login at 21%. Feiliu.com has a visit percentage of 79% ( on alexa.com)... which actually reinstates the business model Omar keeps saying on the call.

Point taken. Another method to validate is whether the products are real and are they priced for a sale. I think their products and their partnerships are real. We can very well validate by customer reviews on Google play, Amazon and open partnerships validated by the partners themselves.

Their initial investors ( seed capital) were top notch companies. I am sure NQ would not have been in business without a due diligence about their product and marketability, by their investors. Analysts and top investors have participated after their DD and some analyst have reinstated their stance.

Well, if you can ask me.. can you investigate the company 100% and confirm...I am not sure of that...but I think the odds are in their favor and it seems more likely to be real than a dud. If NQ proves to be right with time..which I believe it will......it is going to fly really high this time.

Noted your concerns and skepticism. You have the freedom to express your opinion. I believe in cash position and the business ( Do note that they transferred 100 million USD today). Lets wait and watch rather than punching Toro's work.

Carson does not seem to be an angel in any case and they have been proven wrong on cash. One of them will lose their credibility for good. I personally believe Carson played dirty creating doubt and fear to make some quick buck before Christmas.

@richardhabibi- you have been negative about NQ from the beginning of the year. Why are you following this stock so much if you don't believe in it. Are you a short? If so do mention that.

  • What I Find Strange About The Short Argument On J.C. Penney [View article]
Hey Flip, Take it easy. Nobody has a crystal ball. I believe JCP has chance to get back on its foot and that is solely my opinion. I am betting a small position with long calls... I could very well be wrong but we are all entitled to different opinions and that is the beauty of the market. Let see how things turn out. If they do bad in Q4, I will get out of my position...
