Steve Jobs Presents Apple's Green IT Strategy; Blasts Dell, HP

For two years in a row, Greenpeace has falsely accused Apple and it's products of being on the low end of the computer and consumer electronics, green totem pole. In his open letter, Steve Jobs is merely pointing out that Apple is the green leader in their field. He proves this by comparing the amounts of hazardous materials in Apple's products to the amounts found in Apple's competitors' products.

Greenpeace was using Apple's cache to spur on it's own very lucrative membership drives and they did not care where Apple was actually ranked environmentally. They just used press releases as the sole sources of their environmental information. Pretty shoddy green watchdog workmanship there, I must say.
