Impressive results from their Harvey Johnson wells. The IP-30 BOEPD ranges from 682 to 964 per well. These results are significantly better than Beall Ranch.

Lonestar has had nice support around the $0.15/0.16 levels. It looks as if an institutional buyer has bought up a bunch of shares at this price level in the last month.

  • Russian Roulette: Taxpayers Could Be On The Hook For Trillions In Oil Derivatives [View article]
Very entertaining back and forth guys. I agree more with blueice especially after just reading "The Creature From Jekyll Island." I will expound more tomorrow.

@JasonC I can't believe that a man as intelligent as you would believe that expanding the money supply would result in no inflation. The average American family is losing purchasing power each and every day because of the Federal Reserve despite the fact that official government inflation statistics show a low inflation rate. I was just at the grocery store and saw that 80/20 ground beef is over $6 a pound now. If that is not inflation then I don't know what is.

Absolutely right. Read "The Creature From Jekyll Island" and you will never look at Wall St or the Federal Reserve the same again.

In the Marcelllus Shale, the average cost to produce NG is about $2. Correct me if I am wrong but I think that Epsilon Energy is profitable when NG is $1 or above.

    The Value Man,

The article is now locked. What does your sensitivity analysis show when oil is priced at $50? Many thanks for all your excellent work.

Not a very good result. It is no wonder they do not have any other permits pending in Brazos County.

  • 8 Major Reasons Why The Current Low Oil Price Is Not Here To Stay [View article]
I agreed with your post up until you said, "The U.S. spent 4 trillion and cost the lives of thousands of people all based upon fake WMD info. If they would lie about WMD to start a war..."

Why did the US intentionally lie about WMDs? We never received a drop of oil although I wish we would have considering the cost of the war.

President Obama does not want to encourage oil and gas development. Oil and gas exploration on public lands is down significantly under Obama. It was President Obama's energy secretary that famously said, “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe."

I apologize for asking this question in the PTA article but I can't access the BXE article.

At current prices, do you prefer Lynden or BXE? Thanks!

I hope this shapes up to be a situation like what happened between Men's Warehouse and Joseph A Banks. Both companies hate each other and both want to take each other over therefore driving the sp up.

I do not think Vetra and PTA get along all too well now after the Suroco deal.

Ever article VD has ever published on SA is readily available for anyone to see. I do not understand what the problem is. If you can't take ten minutes to comb through his record, then that is your problem and not Value Diggers.

Excellent article. This analysis should quell most people's fears with this stock. Hopefully the realization that this is still an excellent company event with oil at $80 will cause the SP to rebound.

The blood in the streets today is incredible.

    Caza down 17%
    LNR down 6.5%
    CNK down 17%
    LVL down 8%
    Rock down 11%

    Ugly to say the least.

Thanks for clarifying. So based on technicals, the fact that PTA is down over 2% today means that it is probably good to exit my position and renter at a much lower price.
