You could do something by yourself. If you don't like mc Donald's for example don't buy their stock. If you don't like what a company does don't buy them, or don't use their system.
How many people complaint agains Monsanto for example and they would be surprised that they hold them in Their 401k through the index ETFs or mutual funds.

I think efficiency will destroy the current system. We do not use high efficiency in a good way, and efficiency inevitably going to further increase.

  • Protected Principal Retirement Strategy: Portfolio Update [View article]
I`m a beginner and invested in MIN couple of months ago. I`m worried about the recent drop in a month from 6.5 to 5.7 ( ~13% )

Akaralph, would you please let me know if you were owning MIN what would you do?
I`ve read articles after I bought MIN that the bond market will be the worst performer in 2013, should I just quit and move to stocks now?

    Hi Philip,

I very much like your view and style.
Unfortunately I`m a saver with not much money invested in stocks.
I came to realize that 7-10% inflation on my wealth is getting equal to what I`m able to put aside from my annual salary.
So basically I`m working for free for a corporation from this year :)

I`m debating if this is the right time for me to learn and jump into stocks as it seems to me the situation is more dangerous than ever.

So in case of an inflation coming, isn`t it a good idea to load up with debt? Right now rates are low, and heading higher.
So that means with a 30-year loan, in 10 years the amount I need to pay month by month will be a joke compared to my salary.

I don`t get it why people say inflation is coming, get rid of debt !
    I think just the opposite.

    Are you serious?
I`ve been to many other countries and have not seen such richness anywhere else. When I drive around the US neighborhood
four-six cars on front of every house, swimming pools, nice garden, RV in the back or a boat or both. Gas hits $4 and people are whining like babies. Let me tell you that in Europe 1 gallon is around 8-12 USD, depends which country.

Yeah, time may have come when you need to think! where you spend your money.

  • The U.S. Debt Crisis Explained In Layman's Terms [View article]
    Please explain me one thing:
Why is it a big problem if US owes money to others? How they will take it back?

It is like some kids are 6 years old and lend money to the 13 years old big fat buddy at the end of the street. One they they may want to get back the loan, how they`re going to get it back?

It seems to me our politicians also feel very safe behind the destroyers, and drones and this army overall.
