Do you want to read stock charts to become a better investor? Maybe you’re one of the many who have tried to learn charts, but quickly got overwhelmed. You buy a book by a well-known guru, and instead of real help, you get 450 pages of boring economic jargon, and complicated charts that you need a Ph.D. in Finance to understand. Or you subscribe to a newsletter filled with complicated terms like “parabolic SAR” or “Moving Average Convergence-Divergence.” Stuff like that quickly turns most of us off chart reading, since you want to make money, not become some kind of financial engineer!
I totally get it. I was there, too. I wanted to learn about investing, but I was intimidated by all the technical analysis ...More gurus and eggheads, and figured charts were something a person like me, with a liberal arts background, could never learn. But then a friend – another non-tech guy – showed me how simple charts really are. You can boil it down to supply and demand: Stock charts show you how prices go up when there’s high demand, and down when demand drops. It really is that basic. I soon realized that anybody, from any background, can learn charts. But the top gurus want you to rely on their stock-picking services, so they make charts seem extremely complicated.
Well, I don’t play that game. I believe that too many “big names” in the investing industry use charts to show off how clever they are. But I’ve taught investing to thousands of people, and it’s very clear: Busy people, with families and jobs and dozens of obligations, don’t have time to master charts the way the gurus think you should. And people are confused – even people who have read the books and subscribed for years to chart-laden investing newspapers.
So I have made it my mission to show people the process that I used to master stock charts. It’s not about me trying to show off, and I certainly don’t assume you like to spend every evening studying charts from 1962, or reading the “War And Peace” of technical analysis! So my blog, StockChartReader.com, and my chart-reading courses are designed for real people, not the imaginary person who has spare time to turn chart-reading into a hobby.
As you check out our courses, let us know what questions you have. If I was able to learn chart reading, so can you, and I’m here to help you do that.
