JP, you keep telling me I should sell based on my outlooks, and I keep telling you you should buy based on yours. Yet we both seem to maintain a hold rating. At least we have that in common.

Wow, I can't imagine how sick I would feel right now if I had over $200k invested in this stock. I'm sick enough with only $17k invested (now worth only $7k and dropping). Count me among the swaggerless.

Well fellows. I finally listened to my own advice and have sold all my shares. I'm sure some of you will think good riddance, but I will continue to watch and comment on occasion if I have anything to add. I may buy back in after the split and whatever financing they are able to arrange. I have no doubt that PbC is a wonderful technology, but there is just too much fire left to burn before this phoenix can rise from the ashes.

The only thing responsible for the ever-declining stock price is Axion's ever-consistent failure to sell batteries and ramp revenues. All your pumping and all my pessimism matter not a wit.

Sorry you doubt my sincerity, and I did not realize you speak for the "many." Any time a stock I own gets down to these levels, it would be foolish to not consider whether the B word is a possiblility. I have been burned too many times before when the cheering squad insisted that "B" was not a remote possibility.

Given Axion's rate of cash burn, lack of sales, and the fact that the restricted cash is basically the PIPE cash that would have to be paid back +25%, it seems to me that a liquidity crisis is not out of the realm of possibility. If I am wrong about that 25%, then I will be happy to revise my worst-case scenario. Even with sales, having to give back the restricted cash plus 25% will certainly put them in a very difficult situation.

For what is worth, I currently have a fairly large buy order in (at what price I will not say except that it is above the 0.10 level), so I am not ALL doom and gloom. However, it is only the promise of near-term sales that has me nervously holding and willing to accumulate.

NSC has released its 2014 Sustainability Report. This year it is just released in web format with links to different topics. The page about NS 999 is here:

    http://bit.ly/1nEHWZ8

    >>“Our testing shows that the systems are working as designed and that the batteries should have a long life in the locomotive,” said Gibson Barbee, our senior energy engineer.

Mechanical Department employees at the Juniata Locomotive Shop, who assembled the original NS 999, are outfitting the updated locomotive. If all goes as planned, the new and improved 999 will be ready for field testing in the summer of 2014.<<

    And this ominous last sentence:

    >>Whether or not it will lead to an affordable alternative to diesel-powered switchers is another question.<<

No mention of industry partner Axion this time.

Valleywood, please give it a rest with the semantics lesson. Call it a prediction, call it a prognositcation, call it a forecast, call it whatever you want. He clearly went out on a limb at the CC with a "prediction" of sigificant sales by the next CC; he then reiterated that prediction at the annual meeting. Then, suddenly at the CC it becomes "not six months." This is just the latest in a long string of raising expectations and not coming through.

Clearly my interpretation of that as a promise falls within the definition of the word, especially #3 below.

    Promise. n. noun
1.A declaration assuring that one will or will not do something; a vow.
    2. Something promised.
    3. Indication of something favorable to come; expectation.

Petersen has accused me multiple times. It's nothing new and no skin off my back. Anyone who is still listening to his advice must just not be tired enough of losing money. I will continue to call it like I see it. And I'm sure he will continue to say everything is just part of Axion's brilliant plan and that pendulum will be swinging up any day now. If Axion ever gets a steady and reliable revenue stream, I may just start singing its praises once again.

I agree, DDG is not an unknown entity. Here are several things that we know:

    * he is working part-time but pulling in a full-time CEO salary.

    * he has chosen not to hold a quarterly conference call or provide any other kind of communication to shareholders, not even so much as a welcome letter.

    * he still has not filled the vacant CFO position.

    * he has not fired Vani Dantam yet

    * apparently he is good at taking struggling companies and selling them.

    * he has not had any more success than TG in closing the oft-foretold "significant sales."

Does Vani even work there anymore? I mean, other than getting the coffee pot going in the morning and surfing the web all day. Jeez, if I was the head of sales dept, I would be out in the news as much as possible, writing blogs, issuing white papers, and all sorts of other things that would leave a visible trail.

dlmca: "Bottom line will be are we closer now to the promised land than we were before the PIPE deal."

I agree with that 100%. That is the heart of the matter. Based on what is public, I can only conclude we are not any closer today than we were last year. Maybe a little farther away, in fact, given that the NS999 is no longer "leading the charge" and that it seems ePower still has a lot of design work, de-bugging, and testing to do before it maybe will prove to be an economically viable trucking solution.

I think the only real leverage for a deal would be if some other battery company wants to acquire the technology and is willing to pay up for a major stake in Axion. That sort of scenario would be in line with DDG's experience.

Of course, the usual disclaimer: selling some batteries would help matters immensely.

Just voted on Scottrade. I'm a bit miffed the way they worded the second item to sound like you are voting for a decrease in authorized shares without mentioning that the post-split authorization will proportionally be a massive increase. This smacks of chicanery at its finest. I voted no in protest. It won't do any good but at least they'll know some people not happy about it.

Congrats to Axion on its first repeat commercial sale. A little smaller than I hoped for in terms of dollars, but still enough that I would consider this to meet the "significant sale" within "not six months" criterion.

Assuming they are able to deliver the 2 MW of power cubes mostly out of existing inventory, the $1.1M in revenue should extend their runway to the next financing by another month. All we need is another 20 sales like that per year and we might get close to a sustainable business.

In the last CC, I got the impression that perhaps tens of MW worth of PC sales were in the works. It will be interesting to learn if BySolar is planning a continuing series of such installations and if any other PC sales initiatives, such as to Island nations, have made similar progress.
