    --

A consistent and positive relative price change was reported along with a previous day's significant closing price being well above its 50-day moving average for GFI despite an overall Grade of F for having significantly lower quarterly earnings report. Reviews of other fundamental and technical analysis along with sentimental values suggest that GCI is relatively a safe investment when compared to alternative ETF investments.

I prefer the technical savviness of absolute and relative price changes that consistently demonstrates the sentimental values unbecoming to the anticipation of fundamental analysis gained from earning reports and/or similar financial events. The advent of trailing or following a prevailing social mood trend has its benefits when considering the application of a proprietary blend of absolute and relative median price trends: it fingers the prevailing trend direction.

The above charts depict trend direction by this proprietary method of analysis and highlights it since a key transition on 6/4/14 (Daily: Strongly Bullish in a Bear Market) and 6/20/14 (Weekly) (i.e., Market Advisory: Strongly Bullish in a Bear Market). Despite GFI's fundamental assessments, this method of analysis was given way to a prelude of buyers purchasing shares of GFI daily and confirming on 6/10/14 (by other methods of absolute and relative measurements of trailing support/resistance price levels detailed by median prices) (Note. GFI's weekly price chart confirmed the same when it became an upgrade on 8/1/14).

Even without the charts (see above) the absolute and relative measurements, highlighted within the calendar view, illustrated very well the sentiments from a short-, medium-, and long-term perspective. For example, on 6/3/14 the long-term trend suggested a bullish holding pattern and that buyers were making an attempt to regain control of GFI's market shares (and they did when prices triggered at or above $3.56 two days later - not bad since GFI's significant low three days ago).

On 7/3/14, the long-term trend was suggesting that bears were trying to regain control of GFI's market shares and they failed to take control of prices anywhere below $3.62 and it has been history since the bullish trail almost a week later (7/8/14).

Albeit, a technicality of how sentimental values can complement and/or contradict the fundamental value of a financial security. Per GFI, wish I had scanned the market and took advantage of the transition days ago when GFI was the hot topic within the investing community.

Disclosure: The author has no positions in any stocks mentioned, but may initiate a long position in GFI over the next 72 hours.
