  • Buy Ford For Significant Upside [View article]
To John Mayo... You expressed dissatisfaction with Ford Motor sales in the Asian market, and added your opinion that Ford should increase its revenue.

Take a look at their 2011 Annual Report. Ford is initiating an aggressive Chinese expansion, spending $750 million to double current capacity. They are very much aware of the Indian, Chinese, Brazilian, and Russian markets for expansion prospects.

Company fundamentals are not hard to find:

Google these keywords: company name + investor relations and you will find the link to any publicly listed company's annual reports, statements, and important news regarding company activity.

  • Silver Prices: Ready For A Move? [View article]
Disagreed with your position that "treasuries are not safe".. While buying US bonds won't provide much yield, I believe the continuation of Operation Twist is very bullish for U.S. dollar. While investors may not wish to purchase bonds in the long term, it does not matter as long as the Federal Reserve is providing the demand for it. On the other hand, short term treasuries (1 month - 1 year) have been losing value, thus bringing the yields up. I believe this may spark a rally in the USD, so long as the Global Economic outlook seems bleak.

Let me know what you think,

SSRI has had their silver resource estimate lowered significantly... Although this continues to put downwards pressure on the stock, I believe Silver Standard does have a very significant upside.

  • 5 Terrifying Charts Driving Me To Gold [View article]
Interesting facts about the ''Federal'' Reserve. It is a privately owned company that supplies the United States government (population) with its currency, which happens to be the world reserve currency.

I was going to go into a long discussion about the Fed, but I'll skip all that... Anyways, the shareholders of the Fed pay themselves a 6% dividend every year! Do you remember when the U.S. government took ALL of the peoples' gold in the 30's? For the past 80 years they've been selling it back to the world. I'll let you interpret the severity of that information..

p.s. since the Federal Reserve was established in 1913 (bill passed through Congress on Christmas Eve), the United States dollar has decreased in value by 99%. So, what happens next?

Lube up the printing presses all over the world. A Global Weimar is on the way..

Have a good day, invest accordingly.

  • Are The Euro And U.S. Dollar Sliding Into An Abyss? [View article]
A real, genuine example of hyper inflation can go all the way back to Ancient times. Take Emperor Nero as an example, he diluted the content of silver coins in the Roman Empire, and in only ten years the amount of coin needed to buy grain increased two hundred times.

And what about when Spain conquered the New World? After bringing all of that gold and silver back from the Inca & Aztec empires, naturally occurring inflation took place and prices blew up. Eventually, after years of lavish spending on exotic goods from far away lands, the aristocrats of the Spanish Empire had successfully transfered most of the gold and silver to every corner of the world.

History repeats, rhymes, and mimics itself, etc.... As we stand right now, in 2011, the human race perceives gold and silver, as well as tangible products to be worth something - rather than numbers on a screen, capable of manipulation at the whim of one man.

Make no mistake, I do think we will see a huge rebalancing of wealth in the world. I'm not sure how it will turn out, but before we come out as a more prosperous race, we will see much pain and feel much anguish.

  • Baltic Dry Index Up 16% In A Week [View article]
If the price of shipping raw materials by sea is increasing, does that not mean that COSTS for exporters/importers are rising? Is this not an indication of price/currency inflation?

If so, I would argue that the BDI is indicating more economic pressure to slow down manufacturing, and is therefore bearish.

  • Profitable Trade Setups for the Coming Gold, Silver and Dollar Reversals [View article]
Short term (3 month - 6 month, depending on when QE3 is announced) correction. Pick it up at lower levels! I sold my shares of SSO.TO when after they did a 6% drop and then 7% up in 2 days. I sold at the high of the day, and I'm glad I did it RIGHT ON TIME.

Silver stocks to look at : Silver Standard Resources (SSRI, SSO.TO) Silver Wheaton Corp. (SLW), Fortuna Silver (FVI.TO).
Prices to buy at : 20%-30% lower than their respective 52 week highs.
Or buy spot silver around 35$ after confirmation of an upswing. Do not buy if the chart is still breaking down!

Many comments are very true here. Too much bullishness! Buy it when people hate it!
Yet, I can't see this being more than a hiccup in the long run. Silver to get close to $100 in the next 2 years. Experienced investors, ride it up, sell at the top, and buy it low for another upswing. Inexperienced investors, buy it on correction, hold until your target price is acquired. Do not get greedy, when silver corrects, it tends to fall off of a cliff.

  • Bernanke's Impossible Dilemma [View article]
No evidence? What about China and Russia conducting trade in their own currencies to reduce USD circulation? The oil-countries that got out of USD a while ago? What about the HSBC in Mexico that no longer accepts deposits in USD? What about the IMF and World Bank looking to create a basket of currencies for the new world reserve currency?

Hyper inflation is most likely going to happen in the U.S.A. as it always does in countries that print so much and devalue out the @$$. It has happened in Japan, China, Yugoslavia, more recently Greece, Spain, and Portugal. What's different this time for the US? Their the world reserve currency is your argument? Not for long...

  • The Future of Silver Mining [View article]
Nearly all of human history? You mean aside from the hundreds of thousands of years it took our species to evolve, and then first learn how to sustain life through hunting & gathering, or sedentary living with farming (Europe) ? Then began using the barter system, followed by precious metals, and THEN turn to paper money? Capitalism/fiat money has worked, it has created wealth all over the world, no matter where you look. A lot of people seem to forget the history of fiat currency and capitalism, and forget that the alternatives at the time were downward spirals of economies and fascist communism.

I'm no pro-capitalist in the sense that I think this system works, but that is only because of what the rich and powerful hedge fund managers and wall street fat cats have done. It is in the nature of humans to cheat and steal to become more wealthy and powerful, where have you been all this time? Just follow the big cheeses on Wall Street, and beat your fellow peers. That's your real enemy. You can't stop the fat cats!
