  • New Source Energy Partners: High-Reward, Low-Risk MLP With 10% Yield [View article]
That k-1 shouldn't be a hurdle. I use Tax Act and it takes me about 2 minutes to enter the data for each of my approx 10 MLP's.

  • Dividend Growers Portfolio That Has Outperformed The Market [View article]
AP, its very difficult to forecast the next five year for this commodity sensitive co. It all depends on the spread between poly and propane. It's essentially a bet on world econ. growth.

  • Is Altisource Residential A House Of Cards? [View article]
I've had RESi since May. As far as I concerned, its a play on a recovering RE market. They're picking up foreclosures at distressed prices & will eventually sell when the market recovers. The rental income is a very small part of their income and will continue to be small. It's obviously not a long term holding.

Impressive article. Just to point out that PDH is a MLP and the key for mlp's is their distribution coverage ratio.

  • This High Dividend Stock Just Blew Out Earnings And Has Major Dividend Growth Ahead [View article]
This is much ado about nothing. Yes they are different at tax time but, they are both corporations. I have owned about 40 MLP's and their tax benefits far outweigh the extra one minute I spend at tax time plugging their K-1 data into my tax software. The author may not have mentioned their MLP status since I believe one should select cos based on their fundamentals rather than their tax treatment.

  • Analyzing Some Of Carl Icahn's Top Holdings [View article]
Methinks you meant CVI rather than CVRR. e.g., the distribution yield is around 15+% for CVRR. Otherwise, I agree with your outlook on CVRR

  • A Number Of Catalysts To Keep In Mind When Considering These Higher-Yielding MLPs [View article]
CVRR is 20% of my portfolio. I agree with your article for CVRR. One minor point. their distribution guidance midpoint is $4.45 so the ;yield is now 15+%. A good summary of cvrr.
