3 Reasons Why I Wouldn't Be A Buyer Of Bank Of America [View article]
What about dressing up the pig and selling Countrywide off? I guess it would just be too huge of a loss right now, but if they could get out of mortgages they might be able to come back.
3 Reasons Why I Wouldn't Be A Buyer Of Bank Of America [View article]
I keep my BAC stock because I feel it will come back sooner than later. I admit however I would not buy it. But when the fed quits obsessing about it and it can begin to pay a dividend it could get a nice pop. You just can't blame the banks forever.

Yes, NG burning electrical plants churning out energy for our fleet of electric auto, that we can all purchase for a $2000.00 energy credit..Break the dependence on mid east oil and get our self moving. Why not?

It seems to me electric tops this stock. Electric can use any natural substance that can be converted, including ng, so it is much more flexible. That being said storage or batteries is really the biggest opportunity out there.

So what exactly is rhodium used for by auto makers( clean air in the converter is thats it,is that all it is?) and might there be a suitable substitute on the horizon? I was looking to corner the market on buggy whips my self.
GE's Stock And Dividend Should Be Avoided [View article]
Let's do a comparative check on these stocks again around oh late December. That will tell the story and I will either crow or eat crow. But, something just smells here.
GE's Stock And Dividend Should Be Avoided [View article]
I have owned GE for some time as a core holding, only adding when the stock is significantly under priced. Right now the patient investor will hold. In many ways GE is a proxy for the US economy. Getting all bothered and jumping off on some speculative pumper seems silly. I am also suspicious of an article the bashes one bellwether company and touts a couple of shiny bubbles in the same breath. I do have a speculative investment section in my portfolio, and I could but will not take this dangling little morsel of bait. I would prefer to put spec money right now into HTGC which diversifies risk in the tec world and still gives a 8% plus div. If you want to bash GE fine, bash away. Just don't come crying back to the board when the shiny bubbles have popped.

Remember? I have over 300shrs of that $2.00 stock and over 300 that were provided to me at a split off and I think it's going higher? We they start paying a div again I wonder if that may mean that the run up is over? This stock should be trading in the 20's.
BofA (BAC) yesterday won an initial victory in the battle over its $8.5B mortgage bond settlement with investors when an NY supreme court judge rejected a request from AIG to turn the limited proceeding, called Article 77, into a broader inquiry, or a plenary action, for a full hearing. AIG is one of two main objectors to the deal. [View news story]
Hmm that fat cat gets fatter until he falls off the branch?
I think when the Fed allows BAC to pay a div again, that will be a big moment and the stock will rise. How much liquidity do they need before the Fed gets off their back?
