Remember? I have over 300shrs of that $2.00 stock and over 300 that were provided to me at a split off and I think it's going higher? We they start paying a div again I wonder if that may mean that the run up is over? This stock should be trading in the 20's.
BofA (BAC) yesterday won an initial victory in the battle over its $8.5B mortgage bond settlement with investors when an NY supreme court judge rejected a request from AIG to turn the limited proceeding, called Article 77, into a broader inquiry, or a plenary action, for a full hearing. AIG is one of two main objectors to the deal. [View news story]
Hmm that fat cat gets fatter until he falls off the branch?
I think when the Fed allows BAC to pay a div again, that will be a big moment and the stock will rise. How much liquidity do they need before the Fed gets off their back?

I am over weighted in T and while I would like to buy more, it would violate my own rules about diversification. I reinvest the div earnings in MRK, ha ha ha.
Ford (F -0.1%) plans to move away with the retro look of its Mustang model with new versions as it attempts to boost sales to Generation Y buyers. Though the iconic car will retain its classic shark-nosed grille and round headlights, starting with the 2014 model year it will more closely resemble a Ford Fusion than the Mustang of yesteryear. To me, the classic Mustang is a forever car. Trying to make it into something it is not, is a mistake and a missed opportunity. This at the time when Ford is looking over its shoulder at VW. They should play on their strength and popularity...not some new twisted idea.
The global automotive industry is facing a potential slowdown in production over the next few weeks, due to a severe shortage of a resin used to make fuel and brake components. I do agree with the article. Banks are a mirror of the economy. They will quietly exit from housing as time goes on and they need somewhere else to make up. I am not sure however that the same is true of autos. That are does not really carry the same stigma as homes and autos never seem to show the 100% declines of housing. I think that they will continue to support the new auto push that comes with a budding recovery.
