I've lived in Boston for years now but grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I'm fond of classical music, especially (though by no means exclusively) the compositions of Johannes Brahms (1833-1897), which should explain my choice of username.
Studying the stock market has been a hobby of mine for a while now. I want to avoid repeating an unpleasant experience of my younger days when I blew most of a small inheritance investing in a company that went bankrupt. Thank goodness it was only a small inheritance.
I'm inclined to think that P/Book Value is a superior metric to P/E, especially in the case of small companies that have only recently started earning profits.
