I am an apple bull. Reality tells me there is 50-60% upside from here, if we go to 1000+. Then what? Dividends, yield? There are many stocks that will go up more than 50% from here that I can own, and do. 50% is 50% no matter how you are getting there. Does this mean all of us just want 50% return, and were done. Write put options on other stocks, like CJES. Very solid stock. I want to own it, the 17.50 put was 1.64 for september. I collected the 164-8 for commissions. If I get put,I get a 5 pe stock at 17.50-1.50 for 16.00 a share. Then I can turn around and sell the call the same day collecting another premium. I would recommend you try the naked puts, on stocks, under 20$, look for premiums of at least net 1.00$
Example: 20$ stock, risk 2000$, premium less than 2 months, 1.00. 100$ divided by 2000$ = 5% return in 2 months. Annual return is 30%.

Can you apply this 'theory' to AMAZON or GOOGLE? It would be interesting to see how many quarters, they would need to reach the 'equity value 101'. Sounds like "Mumbo Jumbo" to me. Just short the stock if you have so much confidence in your theory.

I refer to my post I made last year. Apple is like a NEW species of Anaconda Snakelet. How big will it get? There are no experts. We will see in 10-20 years. In the meantime I will collect the dividend. Long Apple, way too long. Also long QCOM and AVGO.
6:21 PM Apple (AAPL) says it will hold a conference call tomorrow at 9AM ET to discuss its plans for its massive cash balance, which is likely above $100B at this point. Remarks from Tim Cook about how Apple is discussing uses for its cash, as well as other hints, has led to fervent speculation that a dividend and/or buyback will soon be announced.
I will wait for the cash dividend. Then I will be a happy camper. Sooner or later it will be another coke, msft or intel, cash machine returning $ money to me. Long since 80$, maybe I will buy more, since it is going to 800+ by June.

That is the standard of all businesses. The article is an evaluation of fast how fast Apple actually pays their suppliers compared to others. A company like GE or GM, can take 1-2 quarters to pay suppliers, waiting for the dealers to sell to the customers to sell to the consumers. Cook is a supply chain Guru. Read the article.
