  • Future Looks Bright For Facebook [View article]
Lots of fair weather friends out there that jump ship, but if you could investigate you would discover they did not own $FB stock at all - so they make a career out of bashing it. Even when it succeeds these guys see failure. Bring back the Navy Corpsman who talks sensible all the time.

Talking about crooks. I believe in the old adage "It takes one to know one." Go back to bed Andy we have heard your song before.

  • Twitter IPO To Give Facebook A Face-Lift [View instapost]
Agree. Lots of hype but little substance. How people can flock to $TWTR after losing almost $200M in the past two years is beyond belief. To have this upstart ahead of $MSFT is a traversity. Some $FB shafreholders paniced to buy $TWTR and now regret doing so.

I think Hugo has the best analysis concerning $FB than anybody else. I am amazed after the excellent #rd Qtr report and the honest of the CFO that investors sold instead of buying. I still see the bulls in charge and the Tea Party bears fading away.

  • Should You Be Bullish On Facebook? [View article]
I like MSFT and especially the divident and purchased 5000 shares in January - but went 20000 on FB and that has not done very good; however I am with the analysts and dream of hitting $40 this year.

  • Facebook (FB +1%) ad engagement is growing, says Morgan Stanley after conducting an analysis that it believes dispels fears of declining engagement due to a lack of advertiser control over where ads appear. The note comes a day after Facebook announced plans to drastically streamline its ad offerings in an effort to make life easier for marketers. [View news story]

  • Stifel's Jordan Rohan upgrades Facebook (FB +4.1%) to Buy, sending shares back above $24. Rohan sees potential upside to Q2 PC ad sales, and considers it a matter of time before Facebook joins the S&P 500. "When the company reports in late July, many investors will be embracing back-to-school and holiday trades, of which Facebook is one of the best." Stifel cut Facebook to Hold on Jan. 31, when shares were at $31.24. [View news story]
It is a buy if you know where to put the smart money. The speculators and people liking puts, etc., is hurting the share price to satisfy their lust for a small profit, instead of letting the market bring FB to $40-$50 range they hold it down - but not for long!

  • Why You Shouldn't Underestimate Microsoft [View article]
I do not know anything about nothing yet in Jan I purchased 5000 shares of MSFT. I received 2 nice dividend checks and a $50K increase in value for the past 5 months - so I am a happy camper with MSFT and recommend it to others.

It is time to get behind FB in my opinion and support this USA Corporation!

  • Revelations over government electronic surveillance have widened to include several of the country's largest technology companies under a program called PRISM. A National Security Agency document reportedly shows that it has "direct access" to the servers of Microsoft (MSFT), Yahoo (YHOO), Google (GOOG), Facebook (FB), Paltalk, AOL (AOL), Skype, YouTube and Apple (AAPL). While the NSA document says PRISM has the consent of these firms, those contacted denied any knowledge of the program. The question is whether the disclosures will cause a drop-off in user activity. [View news story]
They have access but are incapable of reading it or knowing what 1 billion people are doing. It is hoopla to me.
