Tools that are not only more stable, but have less bloat and better support for a wider range of audio codecs and with ones that we actually consider superior.
For example, the lack of support for FLAC/ogg/LAME codecs alienated a whole generation of users. Users that grew up loving Apple products, but simply hating Apple apps. I dropped ITunes a long time ago and will never go back.
