I am 43 and have been retired for 3 years. I was fortunate in my previous career to make good money, be frugal, and invest wisely. I manage my own basket of about 10-15 stocks and try to invest with many of the concepts that Warren Buffett does. Purchase companies with consistent predictable earnings growth, wide moats, sound management, clean balance sheets, and reasonable valuations. I generally try to invest in low beta stocks also as I am a very firm believer in preservation of capital in "down" markets.
