Lithium: The Commodity of the 21st Century
Ivaylo, Bolivia does have the world's largest reserves, but is still a long way off being able to extract the material needed by battery manufacturers. Lithium is not a rare metal, and deposits in the established lithium-producing countries Chile and Argentina (and Australia) have more than enough resources to supply the world for the forseeable future.

Whether or not the problems with battery life in cold weather or solved or not, I believe adoption of EV in emerging markets such as China and India could be the make-or-break for expansion in the lithium industry.
