  • Senesco's Extreme Undervaluation Provides Multi-Bagger Opportunity [View article]
As of 11:50pm EST, approximately 5 million (5,000,000) shares have traded, at lets say an average price of $0.04 (currently priced at $0.05). That results in a value of $200,000 (5,000,000 shares x $0.04 = $200,000 value). As of this morning, the Market Cap for this company was approx ~$4 - $4.5 million. This is presently, and please correct me if I am wrong, an OTC security and not traded on a particular exchange. I am unfamiliar with pink sheet trading, so I ask the question: if the potential reward from this penny stock is so large, why would $200,000 of a ~$5,000,000 (as of yesterday) market cap OTC:
    1) Be sold at $0.01 greater than the morning's opening price, and
    2) Be ready at the helm to be sold OTC?

  • Why Chances Of BlackBerry Being Bought Out Just Dropped Dramatically And Nokia Buyout Chances Went Up [View article]
I no longer think this stock is subject to a short squeeze, at least in the next 2 months.

  • I Am Joining The Bears In The BlackBerry Bush [View article]
I was hoping their brand value would push their sales through the roof. It was a bet, one that barely paid off. Their global brand cache is evidently not as valuable an asset to drive sales as I thought it would be. Disappointing.

Former long (and basher of shorts) - out this morning in the blood bath for small profit (lucky one of the few). I really expected them to take off this morning. I really did. Negative guidance is VERY disconcerting. Are they attempting to re-set expectation on the low-side? I doubt it. Can this company, a relatively small company on the global scene, after going through a major cost-base restructuring compete with well-established global giants? That is the bet, and the risk of going long at this time. Will the share price appreciate $1 - $2 over the next month or two, and eventually in the lead-up to earnings in September? Probably. Are you, the retail investor, good at timing your entries and exits? If so- have fun. Otherwise, as a long-term investment- particularly given the negative guidance and increased opaqueness on BBRY's financials, the speculation on this stock just went through the roof. I'm out. Good luck to all longs staying the course... at this point, the risk far exceeds the reward.... Q10s, BES, etc. etc. are fine products going forward. But can this company compete on multiple fronts with such a small market cap and cash run-rate? Against other giants with established (and non-diminishing) strongholds in other types of markets? That is a bet I, and everyone selling this morning, are not ready to take.

Not sure anymore. I have been long since January and sold out this morning for a small profit. They are attacking multiple types of markets (BES, phones, software etc.) but they are a small company. The negative guidance this morning is very disconcerting. Yes you say it will take time, but the competition in all those markets (enterprise solutions, phones etc.) does not sleep either while BB attempts a comeback. VERY disconcerting this morning. Good luck to longs staying the course, but its too much risk as an investment for this one.

If stock trading is your thing, why not just use the bank's mobile website? Why the need for an app?

$BBRY - as a BB long, I like the latest from statcounter! BB rising all over the world, in various geographies (weekly stats w/ Q10 launch):
    Indonesia: http://bit.ly/11Zs3xZ
    South Africa: http://bit.ly/1a8i8hO
    Argentina: http://bit.ly/1a8idlD
    Saudi Arabia: http://bit.ly/1a8ip4j
    Canada: http://bit.ly/11ZrXX7
    UK: http://bit.ly/11ZrWm6
.... clearly the Q10 has been an incredible success.

    Mr. McQueen -
    1) I believe in the next couple of months, when v10.2 emerges sporting Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, that your lack of apps problem will be resolved- you will have the full Google Play store at your disposal.
    2) Concerning the battery life, the Q10 features a swappable battery, in addition to external battery pack boosters.
    3) Concerning iTunes, you have a blackberry in your hand, not an Apple iPhone. BB Link points towards a directory on your desktop pc, much like iTunes. Link does not point towards iTunes.
    4) If lack of apps is a greater annoyance for you and your company than the benefits of blackberry-grade security, than by all means switch products. Again, this will be a moot point in the coming months, as version 10.2 with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean support will be released- it is already in Beta testing by the dev community.

Thank you once again jaberwock. I feel you're on the money with Z10 sales. Q10 should bring stronger numbers over the current and coming quarters.
