Xi Li is the managing partner of XL Partners and a visiting research fellow with Boston College. He worked in Acadian Asset Management as a senior researcher and portfolio manager and taught MBAs at Boston University, the University of Miami, and Vanderbilt. He advocates the combination of global macro analysis with quant equity investing, with a blog named "Eclectic Investors" at http://xlpartners.blogspot.com/. His research has been published in prestigious finance and accounting journals such as Journal of Accounting and Economics and Journal of Quantitative and Financial Analysis. His research has previously won academic and practitioner awards such as the Chicago Quantitative Alliance Best Paper Competition, the Financial Management Association Annual Dissertation Award, and the FMA European Conference Best Paper Award. Xi has a M.A. in Economics from Tulane and a Ph.D. in finance from Vanderbilt.
