  • The Struggling Story Of Barrick Gold [View article]
Looks like ABX got the same problem as most households nowadays, only a lot bigger. The system often seems like quicksand, The harder you work, the deeper in you get.

  • 4 Reasons Why Investors Should Sell Out Of Alcoa Shares Now [View article]
AA is a well running machine under capable hands. They've fine tuned their operation and continue to find places to cut waste. All AA needed was to have the economy turn around in order to realize their potential. Apparently the economy is on the way to recovery and AA will take full advantage of it. If the economy continues to improve, then so will AA. When we see the economy begin to falter then it's time to jump ship, but until then AA has a lot of room to grow. It's been down way too long. Long AA.

  • Is Zynga Attractively Priced? [View article]
ZNGA seems to have dealt with many of the hurdles facing them and now it's up to Z to maintain their standing. Still might be a rough road, but Mattrick is attacking his issues head on with success. The gamble for the early investors appears to have paid off.

  • It's Time To Consider Buying Zynga And What's Next For The Stock Market [View article]
But KC - it's the past that got them where they are today! The past is what ZNGA is all about. Poor decisions and a poor track record. Now things appear to be changing for the good, but are they so rooted in the past that they find it difficult to cross over those well built hurdles? Time will tell. It appears that Z is making some good moves. We'll see how NaturalMotion turns out. For now, This is really all they got.

@ Stone - but kids 3-11 don't spend money on games. They mean nothing adding value to Z's portfolio. And even the kids DAU & MAU numbers have been dropping.

If you're buying ZNGA now, then you're buying ZNGA potential only and not ZNGA value.

  • Is It Too Late To Buy Zynga And Glu Mobile? [View article]
It seems to me that ZNGA valuation is based solely on unproven potential at this point.

@ Ayush - Z had a lot of cash. They just spent 1/3 of it on NaturalMotion. If NaturalMotion fails or does not produce as expected, Z will have big problems. Personally at this point, I don't see that happening and it appears that Z has now made a good buy. Also I think Z will continue with the layoffs and will continue to replace those workers with the purchase other gamers like NaturalMotion. IMHO
