  • Zynga: Dumping Or Buying? A $1.7 Billion Dollar Question [View article]
Mbrillo - I agree with the waiting with patience. ZNGA will be at $2.90 soon for long term position. And by then you will have more information on how they will fare in the mobile dept. and more on their management plans for growth.

  • Alcoa Should Be A Hot Stock In 2014 [View article]
Gumby - IMHO, I think it's because you make 50 posts in an attempt to make one comment. Rambling can be an art in speaking . . . if you are a filibuster.

  • This Time Zynga Is A Buy [View article]
This was a good article George. I like it when a position is changed when the stock value changes and the experienced hype is reduced. I've been following your ZNGA articles and agree that as ZNGA dips close to or below the $3 figure, there is a buying opportunity. Personally, IMHO if ZNGA reaches $2.40 then it would be due to some major failure on the part of ZNGA causing ZNGA to be dead money.

  • Alcoa (AA +1%) expects to more than triple its sales of aluminum sheet to automakers by 2015 as they reduce car weight by substituting it for steel in car bodies, a top exec says: The market is moving from expensive, luxury vehicles into the mass market vehicles, as manufacturers are being forced to cut weights of cars to meet tough emission standards. [View news story]
Yet X steel prices & stock value continue to increase while AA prices and value continue to dwindle. Hmmmm Maybe not as much aluminum will enter the marketplace in place of steel as implied

  • Worried About A Silver Selloff? Buy Silver Wheaton Instead [View article]
Despite all the math of taxes on profits and expenses incurred along with any potential liabilities, it still seems that SLW at these prices to be a wise investment IMHO

II - Still both gold & silver are valued, bought and sold using the worlds fiats. Do you say that it's better to have fiats than physical gold & silver? If so, which fiats? China? India? US? or another? What impact on the PM market will the SDR's (Special Drawing Rights) have if ever they become a reality?

Richard - Since you're an accountant and you say that SLW will have to pay income tax on their profits of $630mil. That also is not taxed at long term capital gains. Wouldn't SLW get taxed at about 20% or more for short term capital gains after expenses? Then wouldn't they also have some sort of an excise tax depending on where they're located? SLW could be taxed on as much as 50 cents on the dollar of their profits. Isn't this why SLW borrows money to buy investments since the cost of that money borrowed becomes a tax deduction for them anyways? It must be a nightmare of bookkeeping for somebody.

  • Zynga May Gain Positive Momentum This Month: 4 Signals [View article]
I think that the investors of ZNGA often don't have a clue on how the kids are going to accept or reject a game. Kids are fickle and like or dislike games enmasse. But the bottom line is that kids aren't playing a game because it was created by ZNGA. And these kids are not spending money on these games. The only way ZNGA will be able to prop up their stock value is by breaking into the world of gambling games. It's only by good management that this will happen. And so far, this has been a ZNGA weak point.

  • Time To Buy Silver Wheaton [View article]
This is becoming a perfect storm allowing for a terrific buying opportunity. It seems an SLW author cannot even write an article when his information becomes outdated. These are exciting times for the long term buyer. This is not a time to sell or to panic. With SLW hitting a 52 week low of $22.94 any buy around this range will eventually put $$$ in your pockets. PMs will dip but at some point in time, they will find their floor. Maybe this has happened this morning with a slight rebounding to SLW hitting $24.23 in early morning trading. Nobody can say that this is a turnaround or that PMs have hit their floor. But tier buying now and then certainly will not hurt. This is the best buyers market I've seen in years.

Good Article Vladimir. I too recommend buying SLW at these current rates. I like your concluding paragraph!

  • Are Zynga Shares Worth Buying For Online Gambling Prospects? [View article]
David - your buying ZNGA at $2.10 was obviously a good buy, but the initial hype surge should be over by now. Unless ZNGA gets their act together, all the headwinds that ZNGA experienced up to Mid Nov that exposed the real ZNGA issues did their job and brought ZNGA value back to reality. There most likely will be some vacillating in ZNGA value for awhile, but from all the reading out there, many ZNGA writers admit that the ZNGA hurdles still exist and that now is not a good time to buy ZNGA.

  • Silver Wheaton Shares Could Face Distress [View article]
If silver is being manipulated by dumping large amounts of sliver or PMs into circulation, how is this being accomplished? How much silver does someone sell to financially affect the market? with as many silver collectors in the world as today, it won't be like before, people are gobbling up silver at these prices. Sooner or later, that someone will be out of silver and have to start replenishing their inventory for the next manipulation. Then prices start climbing again. I think when this all started the gold to silver ratio was about 55:1, now it's about 57:1

  • Wait A Little To Buy Silver Wheaton [View article]
RDF - Looks like your $26.50 has arrived. So is it a buy for you? or do you reset your gauges for $25.50? Many predictions I research show another $2-3 drop in silver still on the horizon. This would leave silver at about $23-24

  • Silver Wheaton: Short-Term Pressure, Long-Term Gains [View article]
Yes, I agree, this will be the QE-4-10s The printing of fiats should definitely have long term increase for all PMs and SLW will be right where it should be, btw - I enjoyed your article and the factual look into the 2011 rear view mirror.

  • Is It Time To Buy Zynga? [View article]
ZNGA is playing all their chips in hoping to gain a crowd of support. This is not going to happen. ZNGA has player problems, revenue concerns, management only now being assembled, security hurdles to cross, reputation and people talk as if ZNGA is a walk in the park. Hold on to your $3 bets cause they're worth money now, but if you got $3.40 value in ZNGA, get rid of it, because it's gonna be at $3 before the weeks out. ZNGA is acting like a $3 stock on steroids.
