  • Will Zynga Dash Higher In 2015? [View article]
@Ronald - yes, just a bit! I also hate to see him flaunt it in front of the investors or employees who are simply trying to make a buck.

@wiseinvestorsdaily - All I am saying is that almost all stocks in existence purchased back in 2004 have turned over 300%, 400% and 500% profits in 10 years. So has the value of silver. Silver for much of 2004 was valued at less than $6.00. So with silver at current lows is still over 300% profit. But my point is not to visit what happened 10 years ago or even 8 years ago. My sole point in my comment is that today with silver at $16 and SLW at approximately 125% of silver value, there will be minimal profits gleaned from SLW until something happens with the use of silver. SLW will never be worth 200% or even 150% of silver unless it diversifies into other PMs, then my statement applies equally to all PMs. I just don't see activity in their value when their primary product remains dormant.

My thoughts exactly. If you're interested in playing with ZNGA core values, why not start playing last October when they were around $2.27? That's core value.

6034700 glad you responded, Goldcorp certainly has had its share of ongoing issues since early 2011.

Wicked - I was curious about your comment and wondered if 6034700 was going to respond to you. Personally, I can't see gold hitting 700 but I don't doubt it will hit $1,000 again. I am very curious though at just how long this apparent manipulation has gone on and the billions of $$$ it must be costing someone and how much longer it could possibly last. But if you look at how absurd the US fiats are being shored up by some bogus support level somewhere, that's just as bizarre. As soon as that support level collapses, then those that are holding their PMs will be glad they made their move whenever they did as PMs will be valued off the charts.

@ Loon - That will never happen. SLW price pretty much parallels silver prices at about 125% of silver value. There will be some minor ups and downs for whatever reason, but the only way SLW will start climbing the ladder to profits again will be when silver begins to be used more in the industry than it currently is, which at this point in time seems highly unlikely. SLW will always make money and will probably always be making a profit in-house because of their contract purchase price of silver and/or gold but that won't be realized in their stock value.

I don't think I would say that "•Zynga's stock has soared behind the success of Looney Tunes Dash." Even if there was a 20% hike in Z's value from last Thursday, it is currently at $2.72 and dropping. In order to even get this crowds attention, soaring would have to be in the low $3's or you won't even get Z's players back to the table. My guess is that most of them are tucked away with a good fiction book somewhere in front of a fireplace. When I read the first line of your article, at first I was thinking you were writing about a time long ago from a distant land. There is no fire under ZNGA stock holders until there's steady consistent movement and 1 week of a fling will not get it!

  • Is Zynga Worth The 13% Pop Since Last Week? [View article]
Although I am left without any change in my convictions either being for or against ZNGA, I still enjoyed the article. I was hoping the article would have convinced me to dump ZNGA and here are the reasons or else convinced me to buy more and here are the reasons. You did make valid points as to why ZNGA will most likely remain dormant for a few months yet, so we'll see what early next year will do.

I am curious what do you think will it take for ZNGA to get involved in China games? Is it going to be making games that China audience will like? or is it hiring or contracting to programmers that think like China?

  • Now Is The Time To Accumulate Silver Wheaton [View article]
@Ari - Oh I do understand that SLW has leveraged into gold and have seen the resistance which for the moment seems to be holding. The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) issued the 2014 results of its annual LBMA Forecast. The Forecast contributors are expecting gold prices to remain broadly flat in 2014, with an average gold price of $1,219 in 2014. The lowest prediction comes from Credit Suisse and calls for an average price of $1,080. I certainly think that Credit Suisse has most if not all its ducks in a row for this prediction. This would indicate that during most if not all 2015 SLW value will average around $18.41 +/- which would make SLW a great buy or at least a re-evaluation of their value for 2016.

  • Gold miners rack up sharp gains as dollar slips [View news story]
Yes, 6228 there are plenty uses for silver, but having those uses now on the table is what reality has placed the value of silver at today. If silver is to increase in value, either new uses must be created or the existing uses must be multiplied. You simply cannot increase volume any other way. And if volume is not increased, value remains dormant. When silver value remains dormant, SLW value remains dormant.

  • Vringo -13.4%; en banc petition for Google suit denied [View news story]
My understanding of this type of lawsuit would be extremely technical and although in principle might cross over, Rule 52a the court must find the facts specially and state its conclusions of law separately. However, the court is not required to state findings or conclusions when ruling on a motion, unless these rules provide otherwise. I would imagine that this would keep the filing alive and in litigation for any unknown length of time which would tend to defuse any hot pursuit VRNG may attempt to pursue.

  • Zynga: It Is Time To Clone Clash Of Clans [View article]
Apparently these games will be called action-strategy games. It will replace the cartoon visuals with more realistic modern combat art. These games often come out with a strong supporting audience but then in a short while fizzle out. We'll see just how Empires & Allies fares in the coming months ahead. There's lots of competition out there on this types of games, but developer Mark Skaggs, who was one of the leaders of Electronic Arts’ modern combat real-time strategy PC game franchise Command & Conquer thinks it's a winner. At Zynga, he worked on titles such as FarmVille and The Ville and we all know how successful FarmVille was when it first came out.
