  • Silver Wheaton: A Diamond In The Rough [View article]
In your conclusion, you say that "If the US economy continues its upward trend along with the rest of the world, the industrial demand for silver should improve." It's always seemed that there has always been more than sufficient supply over the demand for silver for the consumers needs. It's much like aluminum in that sense. In order for silver to show any significant increase in value, something needs to be created that requires a way larger amount of the silver metal. And currently that day is not here. Expect silver to remain stagnate.

Interesting match you two have going on. Too bad this conversation couldn't be turned into a SA article. It could be very informative.

  • Is XOMA a Turnaround Stock? [View article]
I think a comment made by Andrew Pollack back in February 11, 2007 hit the nail on the head, he said: Profitability is elusive because it takes about seven or eight years, on average, to bring a drug to market, according to the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development. Moreover, only one of five drugs that are tested on humans get to market. Big drug companies can better handle these blows because they work on dozens of drugs at once and, though most fall by the wayside, a few will cross the finish line. Smaller companies like Xoma typically focus their limited resources on one or two drugs. If those fail, a whole new seven- or eight-year development cycle kicks in.

  • Why Zynga Is Worth The Gamble Towards $6 [View article]
Maybe I've been watching Z a little too closely and know too much about it to agree that Z is 100x Vringo. With the potential catalysts Vringo has in the months ahead, it’s safe to say the company has plenty more accomplishments in its pipeline than Z. Z appears to be stagnate and needs some sort of immediate boost to maintain in the $4+ range. Vringo is there and has already established that there's more to come.

  • Zynga: A New Chapter Of Growth And Profitability [View article]
Soop - that may be what many of us think, but the key to making that statement is to make supporting comments as to why you feel ZNGA is garbage and why their games are garbage. After all there are millions of DAUs and MAUs out there that disagree with you. I'd personally like to know what you know that they don't know?

I enjoy picking on Z probably more than any other stock because of the internal and gaming issues I have experienced in the past, but all in all, if a gaming stock had any chance of making the stock holder $$$, it's most likely going to be ZNGA and EA. As much as i dislike or have had issues with Z in the past, the bottom line is that it's all about making $$$ and Z seems to be willing to cooperate.

  • Zynga Still Struggling To Find Its Footing [View article]
Appears that Z has found it's new floor at about $3.90 unless next week proves to be another Zdrop disaster. Still with all the positive talks about Z and all her potential, the hype wasn't enough to hold her up for her $4.56 most recent high! With the 52wk Range: 2.50 - 5.89 Z could really go either way. Most likely based on the cash flow, potential and hype, aside from an internal disaster which seems unlikely, Z appears to be on the way back to $5

  • Why Zynga Is Worth The Gamble Towards $6 [View article]
Started in 2009, has helped charities and non-profit organizations to better those in need. While most of its physical projects are in San Francisco, its executive director Ken Weber tells us that it has done other initiatives in other Zynga office locations. Ken is new to the company, but involved in this philanthropic arm of Z. Among his (Weber's) accomplishments include working as the Chief Operating Officer for the ONE Campaign, the non-profit organization fighting extreme poverty and disease in Africa and other parts of the world started by U2 frontman Bono. Prior to that, he was the president of Network for Good. That's more about Weber than Z. But I believe this is why Z brought him aboard to head up this arm of Z.
