  • This ETN Focuses On Business Development Companies And Offers A 13% Yield [View article]
This ENT is a great one. However, it is a little pricey , perhaps. I hope to buy more someday, if it stays profitable.

  • 3 ETFs For The Bulls, 3 ETFs For The Bears [View article]
Many think silver is good for the long term. Maybe everyone should be 5% into silver. Or maybe just buy Coke (KO).

  • Interesting action in the precious metals had them continuing overnight a sharp fall begun after FOMC minutes suggested an earlier-than-expected end to Fed candy. This reversed with the 8:30 jobs report which showed still-sluggish employment growth. Gold has since bounced $21 to $1,651, though still off 1.4% on the session. Silver jumps $0.70, but remains -2.6%[View news story]
Thousands of additional babies, growing and having the opportunity to bless others and worship their Creator. When I read complaints of SOMEONE WILL PAY FOR, there is no doubt that SOMEONE has an attitude adjustment to make on what children are worth. Sex education is not so much needed as education (and ethical heart surgery) needs to be done on loving one's neighbor, and building up the already shrinking population in the USA. Ever wonder why historically, and yes today -- in China and India, and Brazil, those economies are called EMERGING? It is because they have lots of children. Western anti-population growth philosophies are for the wimps of the world societies. More people is one of the building blocks and the strength and foundation of a growing economy. Greed and hatred of human reproduction is the pitfall and deterioration of any such nation.

  • The Financial Sector: How To Play It Safe In 2013 [View article]
If financials did so well in 2012, then aren't their shares priced high by now ? How about some other sector to play it safe in 2013? I am looking for safety, not a continuing trend. If I don't hear of anything safe in the USA, I am going to S. Korea and/or the Philippines. Maybe Singapore.

  • Top Dividend Payers From Switzerland [View article]
I was looking to see if Nestle was a good buy, or if it was a little high to buy. But the Zurich Insurance dividend looks tempting. But now that 35% tax really turns me off.

  • McDonald's: I'm Lovin' It - Or At Least Starting To [View article]
In Asia, McDonald's is big, and always crowded. It is just amazing how wearing that uniform and serving that uniform food appeals for youth to work for such little money, but work with dignity. This is a stock to own for both valuation and dividends. It is awesome.

  • Recession Forecast Reaffirmed [View article]
Mankind is greedy, period. Until he checks himself, and disciplines himself, and each other, big government won't be much help. Less government is sometimes prudent. Responsible government is better. Moral, fiscally responsible, and government courageous enough to correct real problems -- instead of of getting political power
by warming up to "yer base" -- is what is needed today. We need some corporations with real integrity, willing to hire more people, and treat them like people who can acomplish great things.

  • Recession Forecast Reaffirmed [View article]
I don't think Reagan tripled the national debt. Reagan lowered taxes, brought down unemployment, and kept the nation out of wars in the Middle East. Reagan put in policies to reduce government. They worked. Reaganomics were put in place in an unperfect government where spending was out of control. If America is going to survive, we need to get back to that glimmer of hope, and a whole lot more conservative fiscal policy. It is time to pay our dues, get out of debt, and get back to lifestyles of moral and economic integrity, with willingness to budget, sacrifice, and grow this economy the way it should be. With all our natural resources, world trading partners, and ingenuity, it can and must be done. Buckle up and discipline our lifestyles.
