  • Gastar Exploration: 30% Correction Is A Buy Opportunity [View article]
After watching Gastar for almost a year, I finally bought in. But honestly, could the price double or triple from here I wonder? Silly me ought to have bought much much earlier. I kept my funds in MHR. Time will tell which one is the best proposition. Any comments please Sir. Thanks.

RE Adullah, I think you are patronizing a fellow Arab. If it was not the support of dedicated shareholders, like myself and many others, where would Mr Soukie be today. Probably begging on the downtown streets of Lebanon. It was America that made him great, and I hope he has not forgotten that. I am an ordinary humble investor, I was late to the party. I think instead of rewarding himself and cronies excessively, why pay us long-term holders a special dividend or warrants instead. When does capitalism say enough is enough? We have to live (ordinary People) us well, do we not? The World was not made just for Mr Soukie and Cronies, was it?

  • Magnum Hunter to offer ~$45M for Ambassador Oil, to issue 5.1M shares [View news story]
@MM, it's nice to read your comments as usual. When is your new report regarding MHR due? Perhaps we should be watching GST, its stock price has been on a tear all year. I believe some of their acreage is in the Utica, I am awaiting an entry point. What do you think? ATB.

My view may be simplistic, and possibly naïve. Hell Mr. Evans would have made great real estate agent. He just loves property, I hope the new venture enhances our assets in the foreseeable future. I trust his instincts. What about PVA? The market it appears is not so endearing towards the proposition. Perhaps we may convince it when it becomes productive. I wonder if any of you tuned in with the conversation between Mr. Cramer and Mr. Evans in their latest meeting. It was alleged that the well being drilled in West Virginia, is going to be mahoosive.

  • Jim Cramer touts Magnum Hunter as high-risk, high-reward energy play [View news story]
JD. I am happy you are singing praises to MHR. I remember your comments last year, when the stock took a great hammering, most of us were almost in tears. We are almost in the promise land. But what about the debt? It is a constant worry. I suppose increasing our cash flow, could remedy this constant problem. At the same time Mr. Evans is doing his utmost to raise the profile of the Company. Onwards and upwards. All the best to long term holders. J.

I wish a lot of you DERAMPERS, would give Mr. Evans a break. What CEO, does not Ramp his Company. Consider the price he obtained selling none core assets. I think he would have been successful in the real estate business. Surely to accumulate, you most definitely have to spend, and if you do not have capital, you need to borrow. It is the end game I am interested in . Thank You all For Your Interesting Contributions. ATB.

@SB. I am sticking with Mr.Evans to the bitter end. MHR is a core holding in my portfolio, but my only regret was not buying more, when it retraced substantially last year. I didn't have the gredarium. Furthermore, I looked at PVA, it was touted by Mr M M, if I had taken his advice, I would be quids in. But at its present price, is it too expensive? What are your thought on the matter? Thanks. God Bless The USA.

  • Magnum Hunter's Eureka Pipeline: A Fantastic Asset Fairly Valued [View article]
I have just read an interesting article, which seems to suggest MHR and HK should merge into one big company. Firstly, there would be savings on production costs, 2. they would be in five of the greatest shale plays in US,3 MHR, is primarily a gas and liquids play, whereas HK, is primarily an oil play with its large assets in the Eagle Ford. Their balance sheets would be greatly strengthened, plus their respective proven reserves would substantially increase. What do you sages think? How about an all share deal? We would combined probably attract a Major from US, or overseas. The article was written by the Mootley Fool. ATB.

@CR. Very informed article as usual. What do you think of Warren Resources? I have been watching it for over a year now. I have Mhr in M&U. I am thinking of initiating a position in the California assets, where WRES operates. I also need a promising company in the Eagle Ford. Preferably a minor with great potentialities. Thanks J.
