that would be the BEST thing to happen for shareholders....will allow the smaller investor to buy.

And lets not forget Einhorn pls...he will pull out very soon imo. And then this stock will crash. And this stock will never split.

See below - the AAPL articles of incorporation only allow a 2-1 stock split. More than that and they would need shareholder vote.

Nefas - Einhorn has been in since the 300s - for more than 12 months - why would he pull out now?

Nefas I am agree with XRTrader Einhorn increased 20% position 4Q 2012 plus call options. at best his average would be $510

In order to sell this stake the stock would need to be at least above $520 or more. So in order for that to happend AAPL needs to bounce

Nefas - he stated publicly that he just started engaging management in December of 2012 - its way too soon for Einhorn to bail.

This is an activist investor who accumulates a position and then pushes management hard. And has a lot of conviction in his trades

He would bail after a couple months if the stock went crazy up - but his history does not suggest he would bail in a negative / flat stock.

XRTrader: What Articles are you looking at? I don't see any limits on stock splits in the existing articles (restated in 2009).
