Lululemon: Is The Worst Still To Come?
good article. I think you're right about the exec shifts being a problem, especially product design. However, I do think that this company is a bit different than Nike or UA. Nike and UA both rely on sales to younger audiences and are constantly updating their look (take the Nike shoe craze for example.) Lulu does not really need to change their product that much, because it is 1) expensive and marketed towards an older crowd 2) known for its plain-stated clothing
I'm long on Lulu simply because I still see a lot of consumers going crazy over the stuff- I own a couple of their workout shirts and they are certainly different than Nike or UA. At least in the interim, it looks to be a good buy. Maybe not so much for 12-18 months if they are not able to update their product line at all, though.
Anyway, I will certainly be looking at Dennis Wilson devesting from the compan. Good find on that one.
