  • Fortinet Announces CFO Transition [View article]
Why do i have to wtch my stock sink because of this developement? Why cant they just tell the truth on what happened? If you work in a public company in a high position you should not have the right to privacy. My money evaporates because i do not have the proper information on whether or not to sell. This is bullshit.

  • A seven-story plant with just 312 non-union employees in the Ohio town of Leipsic is "probably the best, shining example of the direction" of U.S. Steel (X), says CEO John Surma. The facility makes high-margin, custom-designed products with low-cost, highly automated equipment. A major customer is the automotive industry, which is prepared to pay the premium for the more refined steel. The facility contrasts with other, more expensive and unionized U.S. Steel facilities that employ thousands, yield tiny margins and struggle to compete. [View news story]
Absolutely. Lets go non-union so that everybody can enjoy a higher quality of life. Lower pay, less benefits and you can be let go at a moments notice. Sign me up. As long as the CEO and Wall Street are eating well,I am willing to sacrifice my family and my way of life.

Also if it means anything Doug Kass likes it too. I am in at 3000 shares. I will hold it for better or worse. Full disclosure: every stock that I have bought under a dollar has crashed. So, I am either due or a jinx, do your due diligence.

  • The Sell-Off In Gold Has Become Plain Silly [View article]
Agree kingmob, but people just don't get it, so they listen to the pundits and buy it. Gold should be traded quickly as it does not follow
any "true" direction. To me gold is a "fear" trade and right now nobody fears the market yet.

  • Tim Cook (AAPL) on the five-inch smartphone: "Our competitors have made some significant trade-offs in many of these areas in order to ship a larger display. We would not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist." He adds that if IDC's right, the smartphone market declined 30% since December, so Apple's decline of 15% beat the market. [View news story]

  • As Predicted, Larger Losses At Clean Energy Fuels [View article]
I am long CLNE. However, I think that wall street is going to destroy the whole natural gas movement. If the equivalent of nat gas is $2.85 as the article claims at these depressed levels of natural gas prices then when demand picks up the price of natural gas will double or triple. It is not going to matter how much natural gas we have because speculation will drive up the price. Since wall street controls that price, well we know exactly what is going to happen. Gasoline will fall, natural gas will rise and the conversion will slow down dramactically. I hope I am wrong but the history of wall street favors that I will be right. I dont think its there yet but as the westport engines hit the market and the conversions begin the stock should go up. However, you need to watch the price of natural gas and keep your finger on the trigger
