  • Tonix Is A Buy On Endpoint Circumstances  [View article]
Hi Joe and all other seasoned traders. I have been following the stock closely and even had my wife (who is a doctor) looking into this. Fundamentally from the drug point of view, I am ok with the thesis and the result was a string of bad luck (if there is such thing).

However, my concern is from management point of view:
    1. Why would they announced the result as such one trading day after they said 10/15 will be the announcement date. Doesn't make sense if they need to raise cash (If they really don't care about their shareholders, they could've raised capital when the price was higher). It seems irresponsible to their shareholders, or is it?
    2. I have seen people mentioning that the company has 44-50million in cash left. Will that be enough for trial 3 (if there is going to be one)? Dilution/raising capital will be the only sensible thing to do.

yes, i am aware of koolaid and some other brand (saw it in store actually and thought it was really cool). My point is coming from a consumer's point of view. I still think it is a fad. We will see.

Agreed, earlier in 2013 I bought in and sold during the "pepsi buy out rumor". Only thing I see this product to continue is for it to partner up with more companies like Gatorade, koolaid, coffee or even companies that makes refrigerator/sink or whatever. lol. It is a great fad prod. Unless it expands its prod line, no one is going to buy a second one. Or even worse, use a water bottle to shake up any type of non-carbonated drink mix (like i do). Like Blitzkreig said, expansion cost money.... cash flow all of a sudden becomes an issue. There is no way a large company like KO will take over, it's like shooting itself in the foot if they own a prod that directly takes away their can/bottle sales.

  • SunPower to Announce Fourth-Quarter, Year-End 2013 Results on Feb. 12, 2014
Hoping for a run up before ER and sell... Need to re calibrate my solar portfolio. This sector has lost its base/fundamental awhile ago. It's all news/expectation driven. $SCTY with a great business model but not proven. $SUNE split to fund its business but yet to take over a larger business share. $RSOL's recent run up is just as quick as its fall a few weeks ago. you name it. Need to re-learn the solar industry and what the market wants before getting comfortable investing in a 2014 solar sector.

It is still surprising how people don't connect the dots between penny stock and pump/dump. Great article once again! Well versed and predicted the message forums correctly. Just read Yahoo!'s message board and someone is claiming 6 digit (even 7digit) share purchase is underway. lol

  • The 8 most popular Nokia (NOK) Lumia devices account for nearly 3/4 of all Windows Phones (MSFT) in use worldwide, according to usage stats from Windows Phone ad network AdDuplex. The Lumia 920 and 800 are each estimated to account for 14% of WP devices in operation, the Lumia 710 13%, and the Lumia 610 11%. HTC's 8X and 8X are seen accounting for 4% apiece. Kantar Comtech's stats indicate Windows Phone is gradually gaining share in the U.S. and Western Europe, albeit from low levels.  [View news story]
Comparing to Apple and Samsung sales, the change is still not significant enough to validate the turn around. A lot of people are still sitting at the side line waiting and some are just taking advantage of the volatility. I will be happy if NOK did as well as BBRY when the earning comes. It's all perception. I am LONG NOK but I think it is going to take awhile, maybe a few quarter.

  • BlackBerry Vs. Apple: Which Is A Winning Bet For 2013?  [View article]
Ok, I am a very very new stock investor, so I truly enjoyed reading some of the fundamental data (in fact I am going to save this article). Especially I am deathly afraid that I have joined the bull party a little late (Sell in may... OH MY GOD!!!!!). Anyway, I am still surprised anyone would even consider compare AAPL to BBRY for this fiscal year. Good learning but some what necessary, I guess it is to bring some reality to the BBRY bulls. I have been following BBRY closely just out of curiousity, I think BBRY still got a couple more dollars to go before the true correction hits, Z10 is not done yet in USA.

  • Nokia's India Strategy Paying Off Perfectly  [View article]
Honestly, I have a core investment in NOK @$3.5, but I just can't take articles regarding India that seriously (I am desperately trying to find good news leading up to earning). I sincerely wish someone can shed some light for me on upcoming april earning release. No disrespect, I stopped reading when you wrote 16 million smartphone sold in 2012. 16 million is a little over 1 percent of India's population (70% growth is still too small to compound for short to mid term investment). But what I think is that India is still largely a developing nation and majority of people couldn't afford expensive smartphones. THAT is good news for NOK!!!! No, THAT is GREAT news for NOK! I believe NOK's Lumia can still undercut AAPL's upcoming cheaper Iphone (if there is going to be one)...

I am LONG NOK and would love to see $10. But I think right now, I will be screaming with joy if it reaches $6 by end of year. If anyone believe NOK can reach $10, they should go sell everything they own and max out all their credits and go double down on NOK. Because anything near that would made you very very rich in very very short amount of time... but would you do that??? Ask yourself that question. If your answer is no, then you may want to analyze the fundamental and re-evaluate. I am a newbie and brave! But i am not crazy! learn as I go, any advice is appreciated. :)

  • Why BlackBerry's Gain Was A Mirage  [View article]
Although this article has a good point, I don't fully believe we have seen the end of this (whether is up or down). But everyone knows this is a volatile stock and highly shorted, so it came with no surprise that people wanted to cover after earning. i feel like this article would be better if it provided more data for shorting after earning day. What doesn't make sense is for a such high volatile stock and on a bad day for all phone companies, why it came out almost flat??? Coincidence? I don't think so... Something is going to happen soon (yeah, i am a genius at forecasting a volatile stock haha)
