  • Beat the Market by Imitating Cramer's 21 Favorite Stocks [View article]
So true, I alway have a good laugh watching him. I do have to give him points for at least recommending stocks, since most shows are always doom and gloom over a sector.

  • Exelon: Why This Utility Should Be on Your Radar [View article]
Sold 1/2 my position on EXC at $43.25 on Friday, thought it might be a good time since div were paid on 03/10. Moved to FCX / FLR for a little while but will be back to EXC. This whole nuke event will blow over just like the oil spill in the gulf.

Jumping back in before the next div payment ;)

Here is my question, EXC has a profit of $3.28 per share last qtr and of course the old 5% div. So why hasn't this stock taken off? Seems like a sound/safe investment. I guess that is the problem, it's a sound/safe investment.

I do have one concern with the company. They say their membership is over 20 million. Is this only paying customers or does it also include customers that received free SIRI for 6 months when they purchased a new car. Great number to see would be by month the number of new customers compared to the number that signed up for a subscription. So if 1,500 signed up in May, showing a rolling 12 month how many of those customers signed up for service.

You can buy SIRI for life for a vehicle for around $616.00 each. I did this for the three new cars I purchased. So nice to jump in one of my cars any where in USA and listen to channel 75 (Frank Sinatra) all day.
