Chemist~ ONCS~ I have some high hopes for ImmunoPulse. Have acquired a position of 30k and may add later. AEZS~ I was a long term investor of AEZS and KERX over a couple years with high hopes for Perifosine. Ughhh! On paper, AEZS has a strong pipeline, but as I tried my best to communicate with Engel and other management, I found their true ineptitude. Won't go near that company ever again, unless there's a complete management change.

I disagree on ALXA runup already about complete. We are only at $5.42/shr, with current targets calling for $12/shr. Market cap is only $85 million. December 21 is less than a month away, and I see us hitting $9/shr prior to then.
Alexza Pharmaceuticals (ALXA) has an FDA decision date on December 21, 2012 for Adasuve for the treatment of agitation associated with schizophrenia or bipolar I disorder in adults. More than 3.5 million adults suffer from schizophrenia or bipolar I disorder in the United States, with 90% of those suffering from agitation. The company also has compounds under development for treating migraine headache, breakthrough pain, acute repetitive seizures, insomnia, and nicotine addiction. JMP Securities has a $12 price target on the stock as compared to the current price of $4.08. This is contingent upon approval of Adasuve in the U.S. and Europe and accounts for projected sales through 2022.
A123 Systems (AONE) says that it may not have sufficient cash to fund operations and may need to seek bankruptcy protection. The company failed to meet interest payments on approximately $143M of its material debt agreements today, and as a result, expects to be in default by tomorrow. Shares -47% AH. [View news story]

Skywola, glad to have you aboard on QCOR. Interesting on the trailing stop buy, as we discussed earier. I need to try that on my next purchase! I also purchased some additional shares today. No matter what the stock does now, I'm fully vested in it. Looking forward to a $10 swing in the right direction. Best of Luck!

Questcor is acting a little better today. Still 25% down from where it should be, all things considered. I'm very heavily invested now in QCOR, and I took yesterday's opportunity to add to my position. Us longs should be well rewarded by year-end.
Questcor (QCOR): Q2 EPS of $0.69 beats by $0.06. Revenue of $112.5M beats by $3.5M. (PR) [View news story]
Weaker than expected sales??? I think not! Every quarter will vary in some way. But earnings do continue to rapidly rise. 19 indications for use? Can I hear "Opportunity Knocking"? Buying all I can.
One little blurb from Motley Fool, FWIW:
So what: It's all about the details of the earnings report. Revenue rose 144.6% from a year ago to $112.5 million, topping estimates, and adjusted earnings per share were $0.69, six cents above estimates.
But the problem today is the number of rebated prescriptions of Acthar, the company's $23,000-per-vial drug. One estimate from ThinkEquity estimated that 94 MS prescriptions were rebated for a total of 1,167 including paid, but the actual number was 41 for a total of 1,151 total prescriptions. The trend for nephritic syndrome was similarly disappointing.
Now what: I wouldn't be too worried about the rebate miss, the company has been increasing paid prescriptions at a rapid rate, and both the top and bottom lines were better than expected. Shares now trade at 10 times forward earnings, and if current trends continue, that could be a great deal for investors. Investors can often freak out about small details in earnings reports, but I think the overall picture looks strong, and shares cam move higher from here.
