Meet The Latest Threat To Apple: The Samsung Galaxy S4 [View article]
Samsung's products a generic. Apple needs to innovate again and soon. Samsung would still be known for TV's if Apple wouldn't have rested on its laurels. Hello Apple wake up before things get out of hand and someone really does something innovative. Not long ago it was you.
Live from New York, it's the Samsung (SSNLF.PK) Galaxy S IV. Mobile chief JK Shin has unveiled Samsung's new flagship device, which happens to look a lot like its predecessor. The S IV, said to support every 4G LTE band, will go on sale in late April (U.S. availability might take longer). The expected 5" 1080p display and 13MP camera are there, the next-gen 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard is supported (could be a positive for BRCM), and infrared, temperature, and humidity sensors are thrown in. A variety of camera tricks/gimmicks are provided, including the ability to simultaneously record video from both cameras. (live blog) (previous) [View news story]
Sounds like an upgrade or lack there of that everyone on the street has been knocking Apple for we'll see if Samsung gets knocked or pumped. I bet there's enough Apple haters right now it'll be a pump and more Apple knocking.
More on the Galaxy S IV: Samsung continues doing everything it can to differentiate itself via software, even as the OS and many of its core apps for its hardware are provided by Google (GOOG). The S IV features a text/speech translator (9 languages), the ability to transfer data from any phone witha PC's help, a health-tracking app that can leverage the phone's pedometer and sync with blood pressure monitors, and the ability to control home electronics via infrared. There's also Samsung's eye-tracking and touch-free gesture tech (as rumored). No kitchen sink just yet. (live blog) [View news story]
A lot of hype for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a joke!
First this fall in the share price is a result of Hedge fund selling and the street getting overall bearish as 6 months ago they were overall bullish. Second a increase of the DIV is coming.Third China is coming.Fourth a larger screen I-phone is coming, be it late. Fifth a cheaper world phone able to run on all networks is coming a game changer in China India etc. Sixth that's without any of the rumored other products lines watch,tv, tv programing which is not even needed to just get AAPL back to where it should be trading on metrics ($550-600). I love when what was once LOVED becomes hated and nothing really has changed.
