  • BlackBerry Q10 v2.0 Software Upgrade A Good Start [View article]
To quote the movie Field of Dreams....if you build it they will come. As long as Blackberry can raise enough cash to stay in the game for another 1 -2 years and keep the prices of there phones attractive enough to tempt cumstomer people will eventuallygive it a try and Apple and Android haven't been doing too much in the last 2 years. Blackberry. BB needs some sort of 'hook' besides a super secure network that will excite customers and give them a reason to buy a Z10, Q10 or Z30. A cool BB only game or a 'super' battery or a special phone function........There is no question the BB hardware and software. BB continues to make improvements, updates and tweaks (just like its competitors do) The key is LOW cost marketing and promotions strategies (ie : not super expensive Super Bowl commercials.

  • More Evidence That Microsoft Bulls Got It Right About Windows 8 [View article]
This was news in January 2012, not valid any longer. BBRY didn't have the Z10 available to the market until Q2 in the USA and very late Q1 in England and Canada. The Q10 which is selling very well just came out and won't be on the USA market until June so am assuming that Nokia picked up a few BBRY clients whose contracts came up prior to the Z10 being released. Far enough, but yesterday a gentlemen that was anti-Blackberry showed stats of mobile traffic on an Alpha Blackberry comment page to try to prove that BBRY was doing badly as it only gained a 1% share of mobile traffic in Q1 2013 (even though the Z10 was even available most of Q1 2013. However the article also showed that Nokia had lost over 12 %. That's -12 % for the Windows 8 Nokia's phone traffic as measured by an independent marketing group and a loss of - 2 % traffic for all Apple devices. Android phones on the other hand were up + 10 %. How can Nokia be - 10% in mobile traffic Q1 2013 and be selling record amounts of phones. Something is wrong with someone's stats here. Unless the Nokia phones are being bought for wall decorations as no one seems to be using them for mobile communication purposes. To top it off Microsoft management said in a press release that Microsoft 8 has been a big disappointment so MS are working diligently to update to a new O/S. The NOK stock price has barely moved trading in a tight range of $3.50 -$5.00 so far in 2013... in a year of record stock prices for almost any stock on the NASDEQ or NYSE. Any stock has been successful this year. Nokia is negative overall for 2013 and MS stock gained mainly due to its positive cash position. Something doesn't seem correct.

  • BlackBerry Status Report [View article]
I reviewed you're link and subscribed to this web service. Thanks.
The biggest thing I noticed is that Nokia has lost a whopping ( - 15.2 % ) market in one year. That's terrible considering that Apple also lost
    - 3 % as well. It appears Nokia cannot keep its own market share let alone attract customers from other platforms. Now that Blackberry has its Q5 phone out that will definitely steal some of this world wide market share as the demand for lower priced smart phones sky rockets. Hopefully rumors of a ' Z5' phone on the way are true as well. A cheaper Blackberry with a virtual keyboard smart phone will help BB grab more of the 'cheaper' virtual smart phone segment. It appears the cheap Android phones have stolen Nokia's market share. Its pretty obvious that the Windows 8 platform has been lead balloon dragging nokia down. I am not an consumer expert but it appears that microsoft isn't considered a mobile provider by the public ! No matter what they do with Microsoft O/S will always be for desktops and labtops..... just like Cadillacs are associated with old people regardless of the all the upgrades and sporty body changes they make. Cadillac have been trying for 30 years now to be the 'import beater' but they always fail. BMW and Audi are considered more desirable for those in the under 55 crowd. Microsoft O/S is now considered old, boring and undesirable for mobile. Its too bad for NOK.

  • Will BlackBerry's Cheap Data Strategy Stem Market Share Loss In India? [View article]
The new Blackberry phones Z10 and especially the Q10 are selling nicely. Blackberry has no debt and positive cash flow. BB has a very loyal following. Nokia has good hardware as does Blackberry. The problem my friend is nobody wants Windows 8 and NOK married MS. Say what ever you want but I been making a killing on BB stock where Nokia stock is completely flat (range of $3.oo to $4.50) during one of the biggest bull markets in the history of the stock market. I sold my NOK after holding for 3 months to make a whole .50 cents a share. Nokia doesn't even have to put up with 'stock analysis/manipulators bad mouthing BB based on false information . Unfortunately NOK has become pretty much insignificant. Otherwise how can you explain the performance of the NOK stock. You are wasting your time bad mouthing Blackberry. Unless you can have a fully function, earth shattering O/S developed for NOK by September 2013 for X-mas buying season its not looking so good for NOK. Now is definitely the time to go long on BBRY as the stock will double for Christmas

  • After January's long-awaited touchscreen rollout, BlackBerry (BBRY) is ready for this year's Act Two: the physically keyboarded Q10, which might arrive in the U.K. Friday. The firm faced criticism by loyalists over its decision to release the touch-screen Z10 first (as well as reports of mass returns). But can the Q10 sell enough to loyal keyboarders and upgraders to make a splash in a consistently shrinking side of the market? [View news story]
I hope one of these anti-Blackberry articles work for at least a day so I can buy 500 more share........,maybe 1500 on the cheap. The Z10 is that good and the Q10 is going to capture all the QWERTY market and then when the teens want a new phone for Christmas Blackberry has that covered as well with 2 more 'lesser' priced phones as well as the developing nations. The BBRY has build up way to much momentum. The 3rd and 4th quarters are going to be so sweet for Blackberry investors and make shorters wish they hadn't been so brave. If you play with the BBRY Bull you get the horns!

  • Nothing But Empty Promises From This Former Mobile Giant? [View article]
This must be a joke. I've had a Z10 for 1 month now with no 'burning leg syndrome. Its a great phone getting great customer reviews. On the Verizon website the phone is rated a 4.5 out 5 and on the AT & T website its rated 5 out of 5. There were over 200 people that rated the phone, and no one ever mention of this' burning leg syndrome'. May I suggest using a better 'scientific' research methogy that just talking to a guy at Costco prior to throwing out misleading informantion. Might I suggest you read the website reviews I mentioned above to get the true picture of the Z10. I'm definitely a buyer of BBRY share tomorrow if you're letter has any downward impact on BBRY share price.
How do you get a 5% forward growht on a company with a brand new product that is growing as people have been switching over too at contract renewal time. Please divulge where are these 5% growth forecast as that is the lowest BBRY forecast I have heard.

  • Some Thoughts About BlackBerry [View article]
Looking at Verizon and AT&T customer reviews in the U.S. of Balckberry Z10. Verizon customers have it ratedn4.5 out of 5. Of 117 total reviews 94 gave the Z10 as a perfect 5 out of 5, 9 have it as a 4 of 5 so of the 117 that took the time to submit a review 103 love the Z10. As its usually its only people that have problems that even bother to write reviews this is looking really bullish on the future of BBRY. AT&T have 112 total review and 107 of those reviewers rate the Z10 as a 5 out of 5. No need to listen to the doom and gloom analysts. WE HAVE A WINNER. Just a matter of time as the word gets out in the USA. Blackberry is already popular in the rest of the world.

  • Some Thoughts About BlackBerry [View article]
That's why they made the Z 10. Its got the best virtual keyboard in the biz. The only think BBRY needs is a few more Apps.....I don't use them anyway but some people love to do useless things on their phones to impress others. I use my nose to fine a good restaurant but some people want an app. Anyways the apps are being developed as we speak. There is still a huge market for the people that "thumb" type texting as they prefer the real keyboard. All you have to do is read some smart phone marketing studies if you don't believe me. BBRY isn't making the Q10 for fun times....its being made for 'money' times The Q10 will have an absolute monopoly on real keyboard lovers..... often wealth people over 45 years of age which is a great market to be #1. Once Q3 gets here Blackberry will have ALL the momentum going into the pre Christmas selling time and another 2 lesser priced phones on the way before Christmas to compete with Samsung on the lower priced phones Its not going to be a good time to be a shorter by Q3 although I do appreciate the dips. as I got another 500 share on Friday for $13.50. I know one person that is going to have a Merry Christmas this year.....this guy! Better jump on the BBRY bandwagon very soon as time is running out.....then again another false story would help as I could grab another 1000 shares on the cheap. I paln to be in Europe this summer so I will get back to everyone on how Europe likes the Z10 and Q10 as I don't trust the analysis.

  • BlackBerry Catalysts Right Under Our Noses? [View article]
The shorts positions are extremely stubborn....and worried about the huge financial losses coming there way. This reminds me of the GM, Ford, Chrysler fights between car enthusiasts during the 1960's muscle car era. Only one car was good and the rest sucked. Fast forward 2013 only one smart phone is good and the rest suck mentality of today. Everyone jumped on the Blackberry couldn't get back into the smart phone biz due to all the delays launching the Z10. I understand how this mentality happened and as without a new product Blackberry became an easy target, as an ugly old style phone and hence the high level of short interest. WELL THE TIMES HAVE GAINED. JUST LIKE THE NERDY GIRL IN GRADE 9 TURNS INTO THE BABE IN GRADE 12. We all see how excellent Z10 is as the phone has been in Canada for a while now and its awesome. However its too late for the shorts to get out of there positions without big losses. This is why I never short...to many suprizes Nobody wants to admit they are wrong, especially if its going to cost them money Now we get to listen to series of false reports, hearsay and lies as a last ditched effort to save their short positions. Once the Q10 is released and more momentum builds up when Blackberry announces 3 new devices about to hit the shelves in the fall of 2013 (less expensive phones for Christmas is brilliant) there will be no where to hide. Blackberry will be the new, reborn star of new year's Christmas tech season. Until then we will have to endure a few more outlandish claims by a few gorilla warfare style analyst.
The shorters are running real low on ammo. The BBRY share price stabilized very quickly after the last false report. Momentum will soon be on Blackberry's side. Long Blackberry. Buy on dips.

  • Nokia, Blackberry And The 'Rest' [View article]
Windows 8 is completely lame. Nokia makes a reasonable phone but there are plenty of good android phones already available so they become redundant. NOK will sink with it Windows 8 anchor and microsoft will try an new O/S with another manufacturer. In the meantime BBRY will ride its tremendous new QNX O/S, pick up some new customers that want something new as the word gets out. BBRY will rise back to a very respectable 3rd place in the smart phone market. Anyone that has actually tried out all the smart phones for themselves could tell you this. Check out the all the positive reviews on the VZwebsite if you need to get up users view of how good the Z10 phone is.

  • Steer Clear Of The BlackBerry Dog [View article]
According to all the good technical stock websites such as Score Scores which is correct 98 % of the time on the technical's BBRY was in a narrowing wedge pattern and the stock was to have begin a big upward breakout this week. All these analyst with short positions in BBRY see this information as well so it comes as no surprise of the manipulation coming today prior just to the market opening so the shorters could cover their positions and hope to prevent a BBRY break out which may have happened today. Thanks to the shorters I was able to accumulate lots of BBRY stock today on the cheap. The Z10 is a great phone. I own one. I also one BBRY shares. My friend who sells all the cell phones at Rogers in Canada (Rogers who own the Blue Jays and are the biggest cell phone carrier in Canada) has none of these returns on the phone. NOK is not selling, BBRY is....end of story. The only questions my friend gets is when the Q10 is going to be available. All these so called returns on the Z10 are complete lies to manipulate the BBRY stock price and limit losses on short positions. The average investors doesn't really know the Z10 phone and they get easily spooked on these garage reports. If Nokia scrapped the Windows 8 platform and purchased the QNX BB10 platform from BBRY then possibly NOK would survive but alas that will never happen so I wouldn't waste any cash on NOK. In fact NOK stock has barely moved all year! I don't short... but if I did NOK is the real dog as the Windows 8 O/S platform is simply not selling. This false propaganda put out by analyst holding BBRY short positions are just delaying reality. The truth is that the Z10 is improving its sales everyday as more people try it and Q10 is going to capture a huge market share from all the folks that like a really keypad (millions of people). My advice. Short NOK as it has no momentum as Windows 8 is a complete flop. Long BBRY as the BB10 QNX is one slick O/S. Just don't buy 1,000's of shares at time as these false bad news reports spook some of the less knowledgeable investors. The false reports seem to come out every 2 weeks as the shorters try and manipulate the BBRY stock. Accumulate more BBRY on the garage news and wait it out. When the short squeeze occurs its going to be a huge windfall for all patient BBRY investors. $$$$$$$$$$$$$

  • Detroit Three Wisely Standing Strong Against CAW [View article]
Unions will remain. They were necessary to develop a middle class in North America that could buy products and keep the economy running. People with low incomes cannot buy products and create any long term economic growth. Growth today is mostly fake driven by layoffs, cutbacks and accounting trickery. The consumer is at the end of there rope. The government is broke. Our middle class broke. North America is going backwards today as we are led by companies such as Walmart that make all the profits in North America but refuse to pay deceit wages and benefits. How a company can make record profits using slave labor from China and still be 'idolized' is beyond me........but then again I don't like to buy cheap crap that falls apart within a few weeks after purchasing it. Where is all the love and peace protest crap from the baby boomers against low wages and human rights violations in China....oh they are the one's running the Walmart's of the world. North Americans have turned a blind eye to employee rights and supporting our home economy in a quest to save a few cents. Soon our standard of living will be the same as the "lowly Chinese" we now enslave by demanding cheap products. Keep enjoy your cheap crap everybody. Economics 101 : For every 1 manufacturing job it produces 7 service jobs............except all those jobs have gone to China.

  • Malta: Another Weak Link In The European Chain Of Tax Havens? [View article]
Why is the Euro still alive and why is it still worth so much. This is an unbelievable con job of banks and politicians that continues on as most of Europe is bankrupt. The experience has failed. A union of a bunch of different countries with different priorities, different politics, different economies does not work! Proven without a shadow of a doubt. I know Germany is stubborn but please give up. I'm tired of reading how Europe has stabilized only to have another country go bankrupt. Put the Euro out of its misery in 2013! Its time to move on.

  • The Best Small Caps For 2013 That You've Never Heard Of [View article]
Are you still bullish on TESO. I saw them on Bar Charts and then did some of my own research before I saw your article. You were bang on with all your picks except ELNK. I am from Canada and I just started playing the US markets. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the US market. Lots of volatility. Lots of stocks. Lots of opinions. Do you have any other recommendations for 2013 ? Thanks.
