thanks for your analysis..... well written!... while i think the comps to msft and intc are somewhat valid...i would still bet more on aapl coming up with "the next blockbuster product" than the other two... so i am much more interested in buying (adding) to my aapl postion

agree some what with you...but i think a reasonable holding in aapl...no more than a persons other holdings in $ terms is fine.. i started buying aapl at $500 and last bought at under $400... so i am underwater...but it doesn't represent in $ terms anymore than my other 50 holdings...so to me i can wait on aapl and collect a 3% yield and let them buy back shares until new products are launched...without worrying too much about day by day moves ... the problem was aapl was too high a % of a portfolio for people funds etc
i like tha idea of buying aapl at a 3.5% yield.. 350 ish and even better how about 300 at a 4% yield.... then you really get paid to wait for the new products

no one has any patience.Anymore... they want an i-jet announcement every week...sorry folks it doesnt work that way... people still buying i-phone 4 and 4s's like crazy and the 5... my 4 is still working great after 3 years... will get another i-phone but i dont need a bigger screen etc

good article... i am getting real close to adding aapl to my portfollio for the first time... divy will increase and when i was in the verizon wireless store the other day getting a phone for the wife i asked a 15 year employee if samsung is taking over and he just said we sell all sorts of phones but appl still moves the most and he is amazed how many 4's and 4s models are still being purchased
