  • Apple Streaming - Potentially Worth Billions To The Bottom Line  [View article]
    Bah, I see $100 gazillion net profit by 2019 and a $1,000 gazillion by 2022. Applying a 15 p/e conservatively it means a $15,000 gazillion share price by 2022.

  • Wall Street Breakfast: Greek Parliament Votes On Bailout Deal  [View article]
Yes, Goldman Sachs put a gun to the greeks and foced them to buy bigger homes. They also forced them to increase the government payrolls, to evade taxes and to not produce anything of value.

Yes, i see it know. We can start blaming the banks and everything is going to solve by itself. It is the socialist utopia!

  • Retail giants counterpunch ahead of Amazon's Prime Day  [View news story]
I bought a kindle fire last year. It was on a Tuesday. On Friday(it had already shipped) they lowered the price and i called customer service. They gave me a credit to my card for the differential and covered my shipping expense. After that i signed for Prime. Outstanding service overall.

    Mr. Carlini, is correct.

"Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says, “A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.”

Mexican immigration laws are pretty strict. Other countries like the Dominican Republic expel Haitians without checking if they are unrestricted or not.

Why does the US and European countries have to accept everyone?

We know Obama has no spine, so one has to be careful about these national matters. I just hope they can be transparent and provide as much details as possible.

  • Greek bailout proposal involves higher taxes, lower spending, pension cuts  [View news story]
They can cut government spending, raise taxes, or exit the euro(which implies serious drop in value of currency vis a vis). There are no magic wands. There is not a socialist utopia. They dug the hole, now they have to climb it with hard work. Capital isn't created out of nowhere despite what every liberal tells you.

dieuwer, pensioners are the bigger drag. They should cut 35% from each pension and eliminate 25% of government jobs. Time to be fiscally responsible.

Greece is ripe for a new movement taking control of it. Maybe a military dictatorship is what they need to stabilize things. I'm all for it.

ArnieW, of course they have that money allocated. Every big company has ample room for contingencies. But what i despise is the utter hypocrisy of those who say AAPL is the more consumer friendly company in the world.
