I'm so tired of you as a writer. You flip flop more than politician. You warned away many investors that would have made a large gain, and probably burned some bears that got caught short.. Just stop writing already.

  • The GPUs integrated with mid-range and high-end versions of Intel's (INTC) upcoming Haswell CPUs could be a threat to AMD and Nvidia's (NVDA) discrete GPU sales, ZDNet points out. Intel claims the GPUs, codenamed Iris, will deliver a 2x-3x performance gain (depending on the CPU model) over the ones integrated with comparable Ivy Bridge CPUs. However, more power-efficient Haswell ultrabook chips will ship with HD 5000 GPUs (though Intel still promises performance gains here). Integrated GPUs (both from Intel and AMD) have been steadily taking share from discrete GPUs for years. (more on Haswell[View news story]
What a joke, AMD's APUs already as is have better graphics than Intel's HD4000 by a considerable margin. Wait till Temash is released this year and that gap will get much larger. Intel isn't a graphics company it's funny when they try and trick people into believe their graphics are worth anything more than checking email and watching videos.

  • Intel Makes The Right CEO Choice [View article]
Does it matter? as we saw back in the early 2000s all the intel execs are crooked anyway. Less we forget intel paying dell 104% of dells quarterly income back in 2006 so they wouldn't carry the far superior and cheaper AMD Opteron processors. In fact they didn't even have any contracts for these 805 million dollar quarter payments, instead doing all the deals through emails and spreadsheets (sounds legit right? lol)..

Intel has a new puppet master ready to fix the free market, I don't have much faith in him to say the least.

  • Intel: Going Micro For Major Growth In Servers [View article]
really? I imagine you would be all about this. Other than Intel AMD is the only other company that can actually do this because of intelecual properly issues surrounding x86 and AMD's 64bit instruction set. They seem like the perfect company to bridge the gap. different processors handle different work loads more effectively why not have it as a hybrid?

We'll see how AMD's Hybrid ARM x86-64bit processor does end of year. I believe it has real potential to break into the market.

  • Advanced Micro Devices Does Something Incredibly Right [View article]
I love Rory Read! He did some great work over at Lenovo before coming to AMD and has made some huge strides. While I would have lived a bit of mention of the restructuring that's already happened in AMD since his arrival (offloading fab completely, cutting operating costs, etc.) Your article made some good points. AMD is putting a lot on their embedded chips and for got reason. The embedded market has suffered from power graphics and power. AMD has the ability with their graphics division (ATI) to really bring some changes to this market. I feel their Jaguar chips will be making a lot of people change their minds about AMD especially after they see it in action on the PS4 and Next Gen XBOX.. In the future if you could end your articles on a slightly better note it would be appreciated though lol. Keep up the work.

  • AMD Hopes ARM Can Save It [View article]
AMD is actually releasing a X86-64bit ARM processor hybrid. It is stated in several releases. AMD is the only company other than Intel that can use x86 and AMD owns 64bit computing with AMD64.

The article is also written to state this is AMD's only shot but leaves out the new Tamesh processor (quad core) that already is leaps above most mobile chips out especially in graphics. Then there is of course AMD's Win of all three next generation consoles for the next 5-7 years. Along with just releasing Malta which is currently the fastest graphics card on the market. AMD has a lot in the pipeline, why did you leave that out?

I would have thought your research would have dug that up. It's a pretty important piece of the puzzle and brings all the houses under one for a powerhouse CPU that ONLY AMD can produce.. Also why are you making it seem like ARM is AMD's only hope? You're completely leaving out their Tamesh Processor, their new Malta graphics cards which are currently the fastest in the world, and of course their dominance in the next generation consoles with will promise a large contract with nintendo, sony, and microsoft for the next 5-7 years. ARM is just a piece to the overall puzzle of AMDs restructuring, along with removing fab costs while cutting employee overhead. Are you purposely leaving this information out?
